If you enjoy grand strategy games, this might be a title just for you – Empire of the Ants, coming soon on GOG, brings in some great news!

Empire of the Ants is a strategy colony simulator, based on Bernard Werber’s best-seller of the same title. The game offers an experience close to the iconic book series, an immersive adventure where you get to play as the Ant Savior. Your quest is to lead your “people” and rebuild a home, protect them in tactical and strategic battles. Explore, build alliances, prosper and conquer new territories – all in a microscopic world of epic proportions.

On the occasion of the Summer Game Fest 2024, publisher Microids and development studio Tower Five unveiled an unprecedented trailer for Empire of the Ants. Prepare to be blown away as this trailer showcases never-before-seen, detailed, and commented gameplay sequences, providing a deep dive into the game.

Mark your calendars for the release on November 7, 2024 – and let’s check out the trailer!

It certainly looks lovely. It'll be interesting to see how well it actually plays.

Alright, Dad.
Oh, dad jokes? Let's see how many ant-wordplays we can come up with, shall we? Of course we shall, why shalln't we?

Who is the ant-agonist in this game?

I really want to play this, but that giant spider screenshot is too terrifying for a game that I would be playing on a laptop. I wouldn't want to drop my PC.

I don't have any, but I can't help wonder if this game/story might be some kind of ant-hology...?
I like how, as of right now, the GoG store page doesn't have the minimum and recommended system requirements but the Steam store page does.
How about Umpire of Ants?
