idbeholdME: An utterly idiotic move from Epic. There is zero reason to remove the games from stores, they are perfectly playable offline with bots and the single player campaign. I have hundreds of hours throughout all the UT games and 99% of that was in single player.

At least we're getting UT 3, but still... Fuck Epic for turning their back on the franchise that made them relevant.
Amen to all of that.

Nail is in the coffin, not seeing any of the UT's on the store search here anymore.

Luckily I have my offline installers on some external drives.

Epic really has to answer for such a douche move :|

Thank God for offline installers. If GOG removes them that will be my nail in the coffin.

Really makes you miss physical media when companies pull stunts like this huh. I have a small disc stockpile of some older CD & DVD based games but it pales in comparison to the library of Offline installers I have for everything in my account - if the digital apocalypse happened so to speak and my external drives aswell as GOG dies then what?

Screwed that's what. ^^;

..maybe I should invest in a second external drive, cram it with all the offline installers I already got basically backup the backups, hm.

EDIT: Just noticed there is an official topic about this on the main page of General Discussion, haven't checked it yet since I've only been looking at my account feed - shall do now might shed some light on the situation.

Maybe when enough old games got replaced, I find a reason to finally use my Blu-Ray Burner.
Witcher 3 GOTY would be a good first step, should fit on one disc.
