any one had problems playing this game, bought a while ago but wont work

Are you trying to play it in Galaxy or stand alone? is your computer catching on fire? Are you using that OS made for real people, art geeks or computer nerds? (PC, mac or Linux?)

The first thing you should do is posting your question in the game specific forum becauuse chances are bigger that Unreal 2 players are reading it there.

The second thing: what drmike was posting above.

The third thing: contact support and open a support ticket.

Took me a bit to figure it out.

First problem is the music. Fix that by moving or deleting the *.con files in $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/GOG Games/Unreal 2 – The Awakening Special Edition/Music/

Second, I found the mouse sensitivity to be wayyyyyy too high. Think the default was 5.0, its 1.75 now (if my memory serves right).

I had an itch for U1, and bought the whole series the other night. Got em all working in wine or natively. WIne was easier for U:G and U2.
