Believe dat.

It's been 20 years since we crash-landed on a planet full of ugly aliens, snazzy guns, and conveniently places power-ups. Today we're going back for a nostalgic trip FREE of charge!

Together with Epic Games, we are celebrating this anniversary with a 48h giveaway of Unreal Gold, the hallmark FPS that expanded the shooter genre with open areas, sweet weapon upgrades and, well, unreal lighting effects.

Grab it for FREE through our front page banner until May 24, 5pm UTC. If you already own the game, you will receive a code for a friend (needs to be redeemed before June 7th, 10pm UTC).

Then make sure to grab the rest of the Unreal series at 80% off until May 29, 5pm UTC.

I was unable to add it from my PC, so I logged into gog.com from my android smartphone and was able to add it to my library from there. Hope this helps.
Thanks, feels like there hasn't been any freebies in a long time. Or i just missed them.

Thank you GOG and Epic for the sweet game!
Which other ones have a decent single-player campaign?

About the Unreal Tournament version included in "the rest"...
Is that the GOTY version?
Very cool. Too bad that Epic has at least temporarily abandoned development of Unreal Tournament 4, assigning the devs to Fortnite instead. Well, hopefully this marks the beginning of a revival for the game. Why would they renew interest in the series, if they were abandoning it?

I hope Epic realizes the potential of UT4.
Interesting. I was just thinking the other day 'Golly gee wiz. It's been a while since GoG has given out a free game.' and then bam! Two in one day.
cheers for the free game!
