ulthuan: Could anyone please make covers for Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six?
Thiev: I've added Tom Clancy's Pack cover to the list.
korell: Being as many of the games on GOG.com are much smaller than the storage capacity of a DVD, has anyone considered covers for compilations?
Considering that there are many possible compilations of GOG games, the covers would have to be either
a) generic (some sort of universal 'GOG Compilation' cover, or
b) made at specific request.
Of course, that's only my opinion.
Well, yes, of course you could put together any combination of games from GOGs catalogue, but I was thinking more specifically those on a theme. For example, the Fallout games on one DVD, and the four Unreal games on another. You could also bundle the two Stronghold games together, and the three Earth games, or the two Nation games, the two Tom Clancy games.
So really, I suppose I could have made it a bit more clear, but I was thinking along the lines of related games, those within the same series, as opposed to any combination.
Beluga: Well now.
Is there anyone, who really got up and printed those?
I say - they are beautiful. But. I really don't have any free space in my room. And let's say, that I also do not have a good paper to do it. I just don't want to look at my shelf and say: "Jesus, this sux."
'Cause it will not be the problem of those covers, but my printer.
So, can I get some photo of your printed covers? How does it look like?
No offence, but this sux. Look at this pic and its quality.
It depends on how you are going to keep your GOG games. If you are putting them onto DVD then it's probably worth keeping them safe in cases. But if you want to save space then keep the setup files on your hard drive. You could always back them up onto an external hard drive if you have one, or have the GOG account as your backup.
As for print quality, the best results are obtained using high quality (and expensive) paper. But it's not absolutely necessary. Plus, if they are stored on a shelf then it's only the spines of the cases that are really visible for everyone to see.
