Hi,

I have a GOGmix that has been really valuable for our niche BSD gaming community (https://www.gog.com/mix/openbsd_engine_available). Unfortunately, I have been unable to make any changes to it for about 2 months: Whenever I edit the description of an entry, or add another game, and click "Save", I see the spinning circle on the Save button, but nothing happens afterwards and the changes are never saved.

This is really frustrating - is there a problem that can be fixed? Or is GOGmix being phased out (it sure hasn't had much feature development and not even a link on the front page) and therefore bugs are never going to be addressed? That would all be weird because they add so much to communities around specific game types (e.g. text adventures) or platforms (dosbox, scummvm, Linux, BSD). I'm also wondering if anyone else has run into this issue - can't find any mention by someone else on this.

If this can't or won't be fixed, I'll have to host this "shopping guide" for BSD gamers elsewhere and just provide links to GOG.com. This would of course be more general and also include non-GOG game resources.

GOGmixes are broken, with no word from GOG if they intend to fix them or not.
Yeah, the future for GOGmixes doesn't look good. Something about modifying them seems to upset the server for some weeks now, and chances of a fix are slim if one post is to be believed...

Thanks for the link. I didn't see that one before, but I guess that's what I was suspecting. GOGmixes had been ignored for a while - not even a link on the front page. I'll start moving that list to a self-hosted page (will be on www.playonbsd.com for anyone who's interested) soon ... and then it won't be a GOG-exclusive list anymore. Too bad for GOG.
I've been having the exact same trouble. I can't even make a new GOGmix, because it just won't save, yet there seems to be little mention of others having the same problem on these forums.

Anyone have any clue what the problem is?

Not that many actively use them, I guess. And since it's been like this for over a month, what discussions were rather died out by now...

I got an email from GOG support that they won't put any efforts anymore into GOGmixes, with some apologies.
