You have really low standards if you thought that the Prequel Trilogy was OKish. It was more a trainwreck than a series of actual moves and I can't recall ever having seen an onscreen couple with less chemistry than we saw in Episode II.

It was ok before New 52, Black MIrror was good. But starting with the Court of Owls it went to shit. Snyder is probably the most overrated comics writer today.
Come on. Attack of the Clones sucks, but not nearly as bad as Revenge of the Sith. At least it has Christopher Lee, and a lot of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan, and his scenes are mostly good. It's still bad as hell, but it's the only semi-watchable of the prequels. Revenge of the Sith is so badly written, bloated and nonsensical it still makes my head hurt. It takes a dump on the original trilogy way worse than either Ep I or II.
