For starters, it is against the rules to have more than one account at GOG.
So you need to consider that, especially in regard to GOG doing you a favor.
If the second account was recent and an honest mistake, with barely any games in it, you might be able to convince GOG to merge accounts.
But honestly, merging is not as simple as it may seem. It is not just a matter of moving ownership of games from one account to another ... that's only the easy bit. GOG likely keep multiple records that are interconnected. So it likely means screwing with all sorts of records, especially if some of the same games exist in both accounts, which would mess with GOG logistics etc.
Many of us have seen where you cannot get a second copy of some games at GOG when they are given away as a freebie. You can of course get around that if you have another account ... but that would be breaking the rules very badly.
