First of all I want to apologize for asking *again* about downloads on gog galaxy - but I just don't get it how it works. I think this might be obvious for some people but I need help. (please ^^)

In gog galaxy I clicked on The Witcher 3, clocked on 'more' and went to 'additional downloads'.

I can start the game without any problems - but if I click on anything it starts downloading again.

I clicked on the dlc stuff: it is downloading (I did the same yesterday o.O)
Being curious I clicked on The Witcher 3 itself (27 GB file) and it also got added to the download queue and ist currently in the middle of a download of 27GB. If I click on 'play game' in the middle of the download the game starts without problems.

Can anybody please explain me why it is downloading although the game is already installed and running properly?

When I go to extras and click on the manual, it also starst downloading. No idea how I can check if it is already downloaded. If I click it again, it gets added to the list again. ... or is it just checking?

Sorry for the confusion if I did not describe the problem in a better way but I honestly don't know how to describe it in a better way.

It must be patch or DLC, what is your The Itcher version?

You are downloading the Installer files, which everyone can do to have a local copy of them as backup. But they arent needed if you dont want to backup them and use galaxy for installing ;)

My TW3 version is 1.21 Wow, thanks, that's something I did not think about. I have now cancelled the download. After this it changed its status to 'updating' and then to a full progress bar. The game can be started without any problems.

Thank you very much. You not only healed my confused but also helped me to save a lot of hdd space.
