La Prisión (The Prison) was the first mmorpg made in Spain:

It was reedited for Cryo

and there is a remake in development.

Ah, that's why the RPGs never got sequels after the Xpacs.

A shame.
Adding Margonem to the list!

It is because as much as I do enjoy DSO here and there (since it's basically like a more open world, F2P Diablo 3), I would love more sequels in the single player RPG line.

I just wish some of these MMOs had a single player or offline mode.

A lot of content locked behind constant internet connection, which used to be ok for me, until the internet here became hot garbage.

Trooper1270: Evony...

EDIT: I played it around 10 years ago, and just now looking it up on the tube, it appears completely different now, compared to how it was back then...

Darvond: It was one of the first whores of the genre, how much could it have changed?
Quite a bit since I last played it, from having a nose around. PC and browser games have been shut down (or died a natural death) because it was flash based, and Adobe's Flash has gone bye bye's... Oh, and gone are the scantily clad females flashing their boobies (which is what initially attracted me to the game), even though it had absolutely nothing to do with the game, and just some over the top and in ya face ad campaign to get people to play. Anyway, it's now a rather crappy mobile game available for iOS and Android only, and still no boobies...

Themken: RuneScape, even if it is now owned by the People's Republic of Chinese Gamers.

Someone already mentioned EVE Online.

Will return if I can think of more.
Linko did. I saw something saying it was free to play now.

EVE Online

Both have a free to play part and then you can pay to get more and I would say in both cases worth it to pay if you find you like the game. I personally recommend neither of those two but no need to listen to me.
