It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Just tried to purchase some wallet funds, got a "Something Went Wrong" message. Payment was declined. Called customer service of my card (Bank of America). And was told no such transaction was ever attempted, therefore it wasn't declined. So, while the customer service agent was on the line, I typed in the card number, expiration date, three digit code, etc. All confirmed as correct by the rep.... also confirmed was this purchase wouldn't come anywhere near my credit limit or credit line or whatever. In other words, this agent said that there was no reason for the transaction to be declined.... and his data showed no transaction was declined... as he says no such transaction was even attempted at their end. So, again, WHILE HE WAS ON THE PHONE WITH ME, i tried AGAIN, again verifying all the numbers to ensure I didn't have an input error. And once again... denied... and once again him saying it wasn't declined as no such transaction was showing up on their end.

Does GOG no longer take credit cards and thus the transaction was never actually attempted?
The first thing to try is a "factory-default" browser with no add-ons or changed settings. Either that or GOG Galaxy, if you use it.

If that doesn't work either, it could be a temporary issue with the payment processor.

If the problem persists, you'll have to open a support ticket if you haven't already.
I started a ticket yesterday, and heard back from GOG today.

seems that your latest purchase attempts were flagged by our automatic screening service. This has already been forwarded for further investigation, but it might take some time until we are able to take a closer look.
So the guy from my bank was right... they didn't deny payment, GOG didn't even try.

So I'll repeat here what I wrote in my email reply....

I guess if you want me to throw more money at you you'll fix YOUR issue. Or, you know, you don't want any more of my money. And the two items I had in my cart were on sale.... so I guess I'll either here something back before the sale ends or.... again I guess you just don't want any more of my money.

Seems an odd way to do business to me..... but what do I know.

EDIT: For reference my ticket number is 1419465

try another service like paypal.

And the hint with the browser was not bad either.
Also some firewalls currently have problems with GOG scripts.

Well, a week has gone by. Heard nothing. Just used this same card on this same computer on this same browser (Firefox) at another site.... went through immediately. Tried here again.... nothing.

So I guess GOG wants no more of my dollars.

Okay. Have it your way (Burger King?) GoG.

I did have the same problem yesterday... but at least it helped me save my money... at least for now.

Make sure to check with your local banking establishment. They sometimes get spooked when they see Cyprus on their statements.

Did you read the OP? I literally had a customer service rep on the phone while I tried to make the purchase a second time as I immediately called them when it was first "denied". They (Bank of America) did NOT deny the payment. They never received a transaction to deny. GoG's own response admitted it was stopped on THEIR end. Bank of America never had a chance to get "spooked when they see Cyprus" because GoG never sent the transaction to them. As GoG stated, it was "flagged by our automatic screening service."

GoG's automatic screening service. Not BoA's.

I guess GoG just doesn't want any more of my money as I have been trying to thrown some at them for over a week. Strange way to do business if you ask me. Especially for a company that is rumored to be in some financial difficulty. It's like "Hey, GOG, I hear you're struggling, and I have two games in my cart right now but I'll go ahead and throw some extra money your way by purchasing $60 for my wallet despite the purchase price only being about $17." And then GoG responding..."No thanks, we're good. We don't need no stinking money (badges)."

Strange times we're living in.
"Automatic screening service" ...

Meaning some sort of financial check failed prior to sending on the transaction to your bank, or did something with the actual browser request trip a security flag?

Did you try a different browser here on GOG?
I used to have a similar problem if I tried to use my card here more than twice in a day. Discovered by accident that I could use it again if I shutdown and rebooted. Restarting wouldn't work. It only happened with GOG.

Doesn't make sense to me.
Not sure if related, but I have found out already in the past that I shouldn't try to make several (say, 4 or more) purchases from GOG in a short time. Otherwise the purchases may start failing with my debit card, I presume some red flag is raised somewhere (in my bank?) and it refuses the payments, if too many come in a short span of time.

It is probably a similar thing that if I use the contactless payment with my debit card several times a day, at some point it doesn't work anymore and it requires I insert the card to the payment device and enter my PIN code. Some security feature or such sort of shit.

Hence, instead of constantly buying several games one by one in a sale, I just add them to cart and then buy them all in one swoop. I try to limit not to try to buy more than twice per day from GOG. I know, sometimes it is very hard and I get that urge to sell my house and blow all the money on GOG games, but with some meditation and a couple of strong pills I usually get over it. Just don't drink alcohol while buying games, I've noticed it makes me lose my self-control.

The choice of a circular font—or any font—depends on the specific project goals, target audience, brand image, and the designer's creative vision. It's important to select a font that aligns with the design objectives and enhances the overall visual appeal and communication of the intended message.
