I have just bought Transport Fever and cannot attach rolling stock (passenger cars/freight cars) to an engine. No matter what I do I keep getting the "error message"

"unable to find path to stop"

I select all railway stock - engine and cars - click on set line and still get the error message above.

How on earth do you attach passenger cars to an engine????
