Have you seen this? It looks amazing visually. I just hope the story/localization is not changed.

I'd lie if i said i was not excited. Sora no Kiseki was my first entry into the series when it released on PSP.

Yeah. Was that the one that had the full main quest line voiced in Japanese? I hope that is still a thing in this version.

Actually the very first release only had battle voices. (and in english for the Xseed/Ghostlight release) Just like the version we have here on gog.

The voiced one was the Kai HD edition which was only released in Japan for the PS3.(Later remastered for the vita)

I hadn't heard about this but this is awesome news! Nihon Falcom is incredible and the Trails series has an immensely interesting world. However, I've known people who didn't want to try the earlier Trails games due to the chibi isometric perspective (and, to be fair, the gameplay is a little dated) so this should bring in a whole new crowd!

Yeah. While the story and characters of the 1st 3 games is great it is a dated presentation.

But unless they remake Sky 2 and 3 as well it's going to be VERY jarring going from the remake to the original. And if ever a game calls on you to play part 2 right away it's Sky 1.
