They are calling it Frontiers so maybe not Torchlight III. Something more like Torchlight 2 1/2.

hold the fuck up, it said Echtra. that's what Max Schaefer split off to run after Torchlight 2. at first I wasn't excited at all but now that I know a big part of the team that originally made Torchlight and Torchlight 2 what they were are working on the game then I guess this really will be Torchlight 3. Super.

they were working on something of their own for a while were Echtra. I wonder where the Torchlight 3 starts and that thing ends. might want to cool your jets a bit though guys because that thing they were doing at Echtra was supposedly an MMO so this won't be a complete sucessor to Torchlight 2, it will be very "new-agey". the MMO aspect might even cause some problems with release here depending on how they go about it. I think it's kind of signifcant that it's not being called "Torchlight 3".

Id love to play TL3, because I really loved TL2. But not so much 1, I crashed a lot around the dwarves mines. I see this isn't TL3, but I'll give this a try when it comes out.
