If tomorrow wasn't such a long time

triock: If tomorrow wasn't such a long time
Well, tomorrow never knows!
I was hoping that "Tomorrow is the big day" was in reference to some EU referendum I hadn't heard of, calling to ban the use of cryptocurrency and NFTs.

Enebias: I prefer more focused games now, bigger ain't necessary better.

Cavalary: Big and good is better, but it's also that much harder to make.
Or I guess it depends on whether you prefer to play through a story or experience a world. When done really well, you get both. But TES games tend to mainly do the latter.
As time goes on, I prefer to play shorter, more focused games. Alas, I can't sink hundreds of hours anymore in a single title.
Is it now already tomorrow?!?

Or did I just miss the big event and now it is already yesterday?

Sarafan: With whole due respect, I have enough of Skyrim. :) I played the game for more than 200 hours and I'm very tired with the formula. It's hard for me to get excited even with Starfield and TES6, as I suspect these will be very similar in gameplay to Skyrim. How many times will they try to sell (successfully!) the same game? Of course I have nothing against the release of it on GOG. I still think it's a great piece of computer entertainment, but I'm so tired of it unfortunately... So tired...
you might be tired of the formula, people buying DRM-free only have never played it to begin with, and there are many full mods that change the game mechanics consistently.

If it's a formula one likes, giving it a new story and setting might be quite enough to make it as entertaining the 10th time areound as it was the first. I'd be pretty happy buying expansions to Witcher 3 like Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine every year for the next decade or two.

Breja:
Happy Birthday! ;)
Close enough :)
Aaaand ..... no Skyrim, yay!
Morrowind instead.
Kinda disappointing. At least they should bring CIV V now, to apologize for all the fuss.

Some people don't get tired with particular games and I understand that. They can basically play them forever and have tons of fun. I have a tendency to get bored if I play too much of certain types of games. Skyrim has the advantage that it's very susceptible for modding which extends its replayability greatly. But it didn't help in my case unfortunately. :(

I've never played Skyrim because its not available DRM free

Likewise. I'm sure I wouldn't like it, considering I didn't like Morrowind or Oblivion. But I'd still be gullible enough to try due to the hype engines.

Not that I expected it'd arrive today. Or ever will be unshackled.

I'm fully aware that there are people who buy only DRM free games. That's why it would be great if the game arrived here at some point. Every TES game apart from Skyrim is already here, so it would be a nice addition to the collection. :)

Same, and original SOuls games. At this point I have played several so called "souls-like" but never the Souls games. What we got? Little Nightmares. Cute and all, but...
