TrueDosGamer: Too bad GOG can't get this Origin title yet. It might be a few years later before it's DRM free.
This game will never be DRM free, and will be completely pulled from sale once they shut the server backend down in a year or 2. This game has no server browser, I don't think modders can even make private servers for it after it is shutdown. There is no single player component.

"Note: Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United States. "

Frankly, I knew that without checking. Whenever someone from US comes to tell about some sweeeet deeeeal especially on Amazon, it is US-only. Every time, period.

No matter, I'm not in a habit of paying for multiplayer-only games anyway. After all, there are so many free alternatives out there, and I won't feel so bad either when EA closes down the Titanfall multiplayer servers in order to push people to Titanfall 2, and/or other people are not playing the game anymore even though you'd want to.

That's what I like about (DRM-free) single-player games: no one else tells me whether I should be playing the game or not. Heck, I feel ready to pay for such games.

Now that I remember, I think I have unused free "GameTime" on Origin for TitanFall. I guess I never was interested enough to try it out. I wonder if it is still usable?

If I play multiplayer-only games, they better be free-to-play. TeamFortress 2, for example. Maybe I should finally try that World of Tanks as well.

Bummer I guess Americans get all the deals. Is this restriction for Amazon.com, where are you from? Maybe you can see if it is on your country's Amazon server?

You never know one day GOG might host it on Gog Galaxy and be DRM free. Hard to predict if Titanfall will be serverless. I just look at the price and figure $5 for a 2 year old game with all the DLC. But isn't it around 2 years old? It would be nice if it had a single player campaign or maybe some direct IP connection interface was implemented. Maybe GOG Galaxy can come up with something in their interface to spoof gaming servers one day or maybe Steam might take it over.

There used to be a time when games were bought on the shelf and the game boxes were big not these dinky dwarf sized ones and there was no online play except via LAN or dial up modem. Yes we got a great single player story campaign and lots of feelies. Gone are those days thanks to probably consoles and Gamestop.

Hm, the necessary base game is only ~7€ here right now. I think I'm actually gonna pick this up. It's been a while since I've played a good multiplayer shooter.

Edit: And lol. I thought the season pass was temporarily free because of Christmas or something. Now I see that this thread was originally posted back in March.

For Amazon deals, add a fake USA address to your account, and you can buy from .COM.

Can I borrow yours? I don't know how to come up with a totally fake USA address, e.g. how the zip codes work etc.

67632 Jerkingston Street
Mallawell, TX
USA

Does that look right to you, or is something missing from it?

Also, don't they require that your credit card is in US etc.?

I think they don't care about address being exact. You can probably add an extra address located in the U.S.

Since it is digital after you pay the $5 you get this series of numbers I guess you input into your Origin account. So there it shouldn't matter what US address use use as an alternate shipping address.

But the credit card name and address should match yours for billing.

Basically you can use your name and address for the credit car billing info.

But ship to a different address pointed to some USA address and it might work that way?

Did you already check this deal is not found on your Amazon site in your country/region?

Yes the season pass and DLCs are still free on Origin. But you still need the base game which isn't free.

This one on Amazon is the Base game and 3 DLCs so it is all inclusive.

Yeah I am pretty sure Origin is free to play not like XBOX live and Playstation Plus where it is a monthly subscription.

Once you buy the game you just login to the Origin servers.

I think most PC games online still are still free to play after purchase except those MMOs types that make you pay each month which I try to avoid. Even big games like Starcraft 2 is still free to play online once you bought the game. It doesn't keep draining your bank account each month.

Not sure how this will work for you but I just googled a McDonalds in Florida.

Street
4075 MILLENIA BLVD

City
ORLANDO

State
FL (short for Florida)

Zip code
32839

Try adding this as a secondary shipping address just make sure you don't buy any real good with it or they will ship it to McDonalds.

But make sure your name and address is your own for the billing address.

Amazon does let you ship stuff to a different address than your own but will ask you to verify the credit card code on the back.

I think Amazon might still use the billing address as the address so I still don't know if this will work for you.

Maybe you can gift a $5 GOG game someone wants for the Origin code?
