Cheap way to milk more money from blind-hearted Nintendo fans. But i maybe wrong ;)
For some reasons, I find that games on old Nintendo consoles have higher prices than other consoles, for example most of the games I missed on Wii or Gamecube have now higher prices and seem rarer than PS2 games. I fear this will happen for the Switch too, and that's why I don't think I'll buy it, even if I'd like it, I must admit.

When I think of old Nintendo, THIS is what comes to mind.

Thanks, but I wasn't trying to win. I just think it's interesting that Nintendo started our over 100 years ago as a playing card company and how they have kept up with the technology advances over the years.
I'll probably buy a Switch down the road though I'd buy one in a heartbeat if they offered a LE model with an OLED screen.
Instead of first teaser trailer of Metroid Prime 4 we have Nintendo Labo.I mean there any further signs of this console game development.
The Switch is now officially hacked! And it's a doozy. Just make a jumper and short out 2 pins, that's it. No mod chip, no software hacks, just load in your unsigned code...or "cough cough" backed up Switch software that you already own "cough cough". They already have Linux running Dolphin and GC games, and native emulators won't be far away.

It's an Nvidia hardware vulnerability that cannot be patched, the only fix Nintendo can do is to detect unsigned code and ban the consoles from online. Oh yeah and new revised consoles are due out VERY soon with a fixed Tegra.

So, for some people, the value of year one Switches has just skyrocketed. I was going to play the few exclusives that I wanted and sell mine. But now...I think I'll play those games I want and keep it online for patches and everything, then I'll take it offline and use it to run all my old N64 and GC games etc. Now the Switch is a keeper! Awesome little machine!

Woo! I love hacking my Nintendo consoles. Wow, Linux running Dolphin? How's performance?

Well, it's not a matter of Linux running Dolphin. I can run Dolphin just fine. It's the matter of the arch that is the issue.

No, I meant in the sense that the Switch isn't super powerful and any OS has overheads. I would assume a native port of Dolphin would make better use of resources. Obviously I know Linux on a PC can run Dolphin fine. :P
