Yeah, Mass Effect would be great, although I wouldn't mind seeing more Disney/LA (Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, anyone?)

I'm a bit off when it comes to this great thread but let me point out that I'd love to play some Syndicate aka the infamous fps from Starbreeze Studios ;)

I actually wanted to play that Syndicate game. AND to really destroy my "old gamer cred" I actually enjoyed BOTH Shadowrun 2007 (a SUPER fun multiplayer game with some great team / asymmetric aspects. I loved building out a character with a solid team, slowly deciding to focus on particular class / tech / spell / weapon builds as the rounds went along - great Counterstrike vibe in a Shadowrun universe) AND the X-Com third person shooter. The Mass Effect combat combined with a few side missions, some tech research and a limited upgrade path added up to a lot of fun for me.

I have to admit, I've always been a bit of a sucker for the less serious "spin off" efforts. They don't bother me nearly as much as they do some series purests. I can generally separate them from the "real" games in the series while appreciating that they bring aspects I loved from the originals into more flat genres.

That said, it's always easier to do this when there are true successors to the game floating around at the same time. (We've had a series of solid Shadowrun games, Satellite Reign and the fantastic X-Com console remakes + Xenonauts).
