Strijkbout: Black and green always remind me of Battlezone but that probably ain't right.

So to summarize, I see a green picture with laboratory glassware, smoke and a code.

Something about a chemical reaction?

Edit:

If I take the letters of the numbers in the periodic table I get Sudeki.

What did I win? =P

cmdr_flashheart: Nice, that reasoning is just too perfect to be a coincidence. And looks like a cool game, too!
I'm feeling a bit ashamed I should have at least waited a few days with the solution. =/

Grargar: Can Sudeki, a 9-years old game, be considered a classic?
Well, it looks old-timey enough, so might as well! But really, it's almost a decade now, I think that's a long enough time period, tbh. Also, games of NWN series are considered classics, and they were released around the same time. Besides the time factor, I think things like game legacy also matter.

Well, maybe you're right or not. I think right now you have the best chance of being right, but maybe someone else will offer a better contender :p

That page already has a "Download at GOG.com" link. Of course, when I clicked on it, it sent me to the Symphony game card here. So I don't know what the hell is going on.
Googling the letters and numbers brought up the 1992 L.A. Riots... Any games based on that? :P

tfishell: Hey, another Tommo game! Nice.
I love seeing new Tommo games on here, because it sustains hope that Falcon 3.0 and Gunship 2000 are coming eventually.

tascodlx: First thing that came to mind:

Hexen?
That would be really cool to see Hexen on GOG!

But why the heck do Humongous Games get stuck with Steam first? Seriously what the hell is up with that?

Believe me, I don't like it anymore than you do. If you haven't already read this, http://www.gog.com/forum/general/humongous_entertainment_support_thread/post173 onward. Close to a worse case scenario for me.

For perspective's sake, consider that they're priced at 6.99 per game on Steam for ~1 hour worth of content, and even then not all the games have been released there yet; GOG prefers to bundle games obviously.

My slim hope is that when all the games have appeared on Steam, GOG can bring them here as bundles for the same price as the bundles on Steam. For example, all the Spy Fox games will cost $20 on Steam; GOG could bundle 1+2+3 for 9.99 and the two arcade titles for 9.99. Or for the Pajama Sam games, 24.99. GOG could bring 1+2 for 9.99, 3+4 for 9.99, and the two arcade games for 5.99. (theoretically)

But really, I believe GOG missed out on a fantastic chance to earn big bucks and bring in new customers through these games. Look at r/gaming's and r/games' posts (specifically r/games' 1000+ karma post), nostalgic gamers are going wild over these.
Take into consideration that if Sudeki comes to GOG, it will mean that they struck a deal with Microsoft, so more MS games will come here.

I doubt they did though. Usually deals of that magnitude are celebrated with fireworks, wine and impalements.

Sudeki's cover is really cool though (always loved huge japanese boobs).

Hope it's Hexen or (one hit wonder) STRIFE!

Epitaph666: Sudeki

Hexen or (one hit wonder) STRIFE!
Damn, all these possible titles are insta-buy for me (although I still have my x-box version of sudeki)
At first, I thought Paradox games but the years don't really fit:
-Europa Universalis: 1492-1792
-Europa Universalis II: 1419-1819
-Victoria: an Empire under the sun: 1835-1920
-Victoria: Revolutions: extends to 1935
-Hearts of Iron: 1936-1948
-Hearts of Iron II: 1936-1948 too
-Doomsday: extends to 1953 (here's why I thought of them)
but the Armageddon's Booster pack extends again to 1963...
and Iron Cross makes the beginning of HoI2 at 1933 (same for HoI2-derivated games like Arsenal of Democracy or Darkest Hour).

So I don't think that's them.

Maybe Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego? Even if I don't really believe it.

Good job, it makes perfect sense so I'd say that's it!
Edit: also, it was released on steam on February 24, so that makes it even more likely.

Ah yes, makes sense. Just went to wikipedia and saw that the port of Sudeki for Windows was published by another company (not Microsoft).
And this company already has games on GOG (Postal 2 and a few others).
So yeah, it must be Sudeki.
It would be awesome if it was Sudeki, since my copy doesn't work on win7, not even with win7 patch >_<
*prays*
I was never able to finish it, thanks to that f*king escort mission near the end(?) that I always failed >_>
