IronArcturus: Have you ever heard of Urban Assault? It's an incredibly rare futuristic 3D RTS game that I've been looking for forever. But I've never met any one that actually played it before.
Oh yeah, I always forget that it was also published by Microsoft. Never played it. Funnily enough I don't know anybody who's played it either but I know several people who made it. :d

Silverhawk170485: I hope for Crimson Skies. I didn't play it before but it looks awesome. This would be an instabuy.

F4LL0UT: I doubt we'll ever get it. It was originally published by Microsoft and as far as I can tell all games where this is the case have almost no chance of making it here.

But yeah, it's an amazing game. Definitely the best purely action-oriented air combat game I've ever played.
Plus major technical issues getting it to work on modern hardware (IIRC it used weird, no longer supported, 24bit colour modes or something) - there's a 3rd party community patch but it only really word for nVidea, us ATI carders have to hack the reg to trick the software engine into displaying at a much higher rez than it was designed for and even then the draw distance is a bit short

PLUS licenced property - based on a FASA board game, like MechWariior (although the Mech games have other issues)

But yeah, awesome game - shame, really!

Oh yeah, I always forget that it was a licensed game. But I just stumbled upon an interesting fact. Apparently MS fully owns the franchise (that's at least what Wikipedia says) so my guess is that they are the only party who has to agree to a digital re-release.

Thank God I have it on disc. *smug*

Wow really? You know the devs that made Urban Assault?

Well, incidentally I know two guys from the company rather well.

Maybe they could convince Microsoft to let GOG host the Urban Assault game? :P

JudasIscariot: This week's Enigmatic Hints! Yes, I am doing two this time due to the fact that ONE of them is rather tentative due to technical reasons so I am not sure if it may arrive :)

JudasIscariot: Unfortunately, the other hint turned out just as I feared and still remains tentative :/
what's happening with the mystery tentative game? should we continue guessing or is this one off for the foreseeable? I think an earlier post said nobody had the right answer yet, so if guessing continues may I offer up another wild swing at this:

Army Men

not really sure it fits WW2 but maybe the clue isn't meant to mean anything more than something war / battle themed?

Yeah, me too, I'm still on the same playthrough from 6 years ago or something ridiculous!

Shame that the sequel - High Road to Revenge was X-Box only, I suppose I could e-bay a copy though as I still have my old X-Box under the telly...

It's still being worked on :)
Figured I'd throw out a few more guesses (may or may not have already been suggested):

Theme Park World - most likely not, but the kid on the cover reminded me of The Court guy shouting.

Red Alert - freeware status aside, Court guy is "red" and looks kind of alert (maybe he's yelling). ;)

Hugo's House of Horrors bundle - Court guy looks horrified; also, somebody mentioned it months ago and I messaged Turnipslayerr about it, so maybe a deal was worked out.

It would be top to have a really cool release to celebrate Gamescom, but we shan't get our hopes up.

I wish it were Theme Park World or Red Alert! I'd jump on the chance to get either here. :D
Somehow I know I saw this face before...But where?

It's the cover from King Crimson's album In the Court of the Crimson King.

It's also sauvignon1's avatar.
Crimson King -> Crimson Queen -> American McGee's Alice \ Madness Returns? :)
