The only thing i noticed by watching a youtube video is that he isn't a lolicon also isn't into incest.
Don't know why he is such a popular iconic character that he was on the top of popular votes for eroge character for some time for the japanese.

Anyway if you don't like the games and his character just don't buy them check them.
This still is only fictional representation and has nothing to do with reality.
Wanting to gog remove the games is not something you can decide.

Moreso: these people don't understand that demanding some games to be removed from the store, will open the gates for other games to be removed...and those might be games that these people want to buy/play.
The shortsightedness amongst gamers is astounding.
I didn't say they should be removed. I said I'm not interested in them. Don't need to tell me not to buy something I am already not going to buy. Already said I'm not for censorship and what would be next if censorship were allowed.

Which other games?

morolf: Those Japanese games are only for sickoes and weirdoes anyway.
What does "Those" refer to?

DoomSooth: They're drawn to look like kids. That's enough for me. Not interested. Don't want to see it, video game or not.
No one expects you to be intereted. Just ignore them like the rest of us does.

DoomSooth: The only game I can think of that allows you to kill children, right now, is Fallout II. I've played Fallout II but never killed any of the kids. If they turned out to be evil kids then I'd say have at it.
The kids in Fallout 2 ARE evil. At least those in the Den who steal your stuff. I hate those thieving little monsters, and imo it would be fully justified to blow their head off with a shot from your magnum. Only reason not to do so is you become flagged as a "child killer", so better just to beat them until they run away.

Somehow weird sex games always seem to come from Japan. Just think of Rapelay. Sick culture imo.

Zimerius: It is so odd to see these sorts of discussions still going on. Usually, x-rated games have their own little shady corner for their own shady little customers, most of the time, certainly not featured main stage.

I simply don't understand why these type of games are not treated similar.
Because sequestering the store would require a PHP dev they simply don't have.

Spectrum_Legacy: I know of Rance games, I think it became Alicesoft's main series over the years. Don't remember ever playing any of them, but I know that they are quite long games with tons of content typical for the jrpg genre. I kinda want to try one of these, maybe a more standalone title or spin-off - as I'm not really familiar with the story/setting etc, so jumping straight in to middle of the series is a bit daunting. Any advice which one is kind of a shorter, self-contained title?
Sengoku Rance is probably your best bet. It takes place in the Rance-verse version of sengoku-era Japan. Almost all the characters are new and you don't need to know much about the universe as a whole. Some characters from outside that country show up from previous games and there are a couple established characters that show up but Rance meets them for the first time officially.

Keep in mind that it's less of an RPG and more of a grand strategy game.

Rimworld with the Biotech expansion. You can kill children and so much more. There is a reason it's affectionately known as the 'Warcrimes Simulator'.

DoomSooth: In most of the violent games I've seen, you're usually killing "the bad guys".
Imo that's very overstated. Lots of games are power fantasy where just about any transgression is enough justification for you to be jury, judge and executioner and take someone's life *and* their stuff. You're supposed to be a hero because you took out a tough guy? You're just as bad. Not to speak of all the innocent side characters you get to take out for the XP, loot, or just lulz. Just take a look at popular games like GTA or Cyberpunk 2077... or games like Hitman. Yeah sure you're taking out "bad guys" but goddamnit, you're still murdering for money.

The "bad guys" angle is very thin in all these power fantasy games where it's just about killing to become stronger & richer so you can kill more.

The only game I can think of that allows you to kill children, right now, is Fallout II. I've played Fallout II but never killed any of the kids. If they turned out to be evil kids then I'd say have at it. I've heard there's a way to kill the evil kids in Dying Light but it might involve cheating or just be a bug.
Deus Ex. There's a few kids, all killable. In Deus Ex 2, you can massacre an entire academy full of kids. That was pretty fun, in the same way killing everyone on a map in Hitman is fun.

Nope. If I want to play with fire, I'll do it in a violent game.
Yea I guess it's technically not rape if you bang a hooker, and then shoot them dead to get your money back (GTA).

ABH20: If a game has a mechanic or theme that you don't like, then don't buy it or play it. It's that simple. I've never played the Rance games but I'm not going to give a website shit for selling them or judge someone for playing them.
How dare you be reasonable, I find this outrageous! ;)
Some of these arguments, though, like common ..... i'm pretty sure most that participate (starts pointing fingers) all come from a society where.

A - porn is 18.. you have to be 18 over to either participate, earn your money, are allowed to watch etc

B - The same goes for extreme violence. Think Tomb Raider, God of War, Assasins Creed. All examples of products that the mind is only to experience, in a good sense, after living a certain amount(18) if years on this planet

Now it seems that, at a first glance, both porn and violence are treated similarly. But there is a lot to it that differs.
For one, pornography is a commercial setup where people engage in all kinds of sex←ual activities for the means of making profit. Violence is more of a gathered description for all kinds of human behaviour, both physically and non-physically that damage another person or group of persons to a point that the damage can be 'rated'.

Two,
Commercialized violence can result into these huge public events where trained professionals engage in bouts to see who is the strongest. This is worldwide considered as 'normal' behaviour. Whereas, porn is usually found hidden, in backstreets or behind certain paywalls. This is also considered 'normal' behaviour.

OK, i hope this contribution of facts will lead to a more sensible discussion from now on ;p

Do you see anyone having issues with porn here? There are other threads for discussing porn, unless I'm missing some tie in?

I did notice a lot of people that have problems with the amount of visibility given to these sorts of games, that are essentially pornography.

You forgot to add "child" before that last word.

I'm not fully sure about the problems of everyone who has posted in this thread, but this still isn't the topic.
