I have spent over an hour trying to get this game to work through the technical support (after no reply to my question on the community forum). Then when I try to contact the company, they prevent access to communication with them.

Does anybody have either a customer support CONTACT (NOT a chatbot that says it can't make a ticket no matter what I type) or a legal contact (preferable one that doesn't need to be in paper & ink)?

This whole thing has a great concept, but it's getting a bit ridiculous.

*Not looking for any hero's trying to help me fix a game- the situation here is a fundamental one, that GOG isn't providing support. My request is for a direct connection with the company.

Just keep telling the bot it isn't helpful and it should give you a ticket.

Well, we probably COULD get the game running for you, but as you dont want that at all, please remember its the weekend and GOG support wont be back until the morning EU time.

It's really easy to ask for refund. Click your name at the top right>go to order and settings. Find the game and click refund.

All you have to do is say I want to make a ticket. Why do people act like dealing with bots are so difficult?

No, I don't want a solution - I want a direct line to someone I can yell at and blame for my problems. I can't figure something out, and if someone solves it for me, then it's just proof that I was the problem all along - who wants that?

Why is there no direct communication with a human at companies? People like you... You are the reason...

Customers are entitled to customer support.
Their methods of support are purposefully designed to prevent contact.
They exist because [modded]

Oh, I know, I know... Steam!

Waaaaaaait... thought this was a quiz :P.

But for what its worth their refund process seems a lot more prompt, which probably sparks less ire.

Always nice to see a well maintained forum, where the CoC are enforced...

I never had problems to contact them, you have two games and already got problems? This seems like a troll post. Sorry, I have to report this because I'm not allowed to call "bitch" to other users.

If you are looking for help, then the forum is a good place as anywhere, if you can't pass the bot then somebody will give you and advice of how to pass it or how to solve your problem. This seems to be a troll post of somebody who just have two game and is complaining by something in the forum. If you just want to bitching for something then that's not the problem of the support team, go to a psychologist or scream in your pillow.

GOG refund to wallet is a lot faster than steams. It takes 24 or more to get the funds back in my steam wallet. GOG would only take couple hours.

• Supposedly you can directly e-mail support (at) gog (dot) com
• If you don't mind tinkering with a browser add-on, you can bypass the chatbot with a user style.

Can you post the link to your previous thread here? Maybe with a bit more visibility in the general forum here, you'll have better luck. In my experience, people who play games for fun tend to be more knowledgeable about them than support agents.

An unsurprising response from someone whose advice to others is "Agree and amplify, or be quiet."

Ok so I thought i'd add this as i'm contacting support about a file that is missing in th GOG Galaxy installer for Outlaws.

First choice for a bot to talk to support is 'When is the next sale?' 'Can I get a refund?' 'Account access issue' 'The game woun't start.'

Yeah its kinda none of them, so i'll just say The game woun't start.'

You then have to type the name of the game, just typing Outlaws is not enough multiple matches are found (Outlast, Outlaws + A Handful of Missions & Outwars) So I shall click none as it found it (and no option to was given).

And then I get asked for feedback and the bot ends.

If I was ment to click from the list of the name of multiple matches it found then in no way does it make that clear as the bot just asks it like a question.

The bot is crap even logging in the bot is crap and really doesn't help. If GOG Support want to resolve the common issues with a bot then the bot needs to be alot more user friendly.

Uhh ok... I'm not saying I don't want that; I'm saying I already tried that and there's been zero replies to my very detailed description of the issue from the forum.

SO if the forum works, why hasn't there even been a reply to my post about the issue? I posted it in the proper place.
