Without GOG's intervention, the problem will become worse and worse, because as GOG adds more games to its catalogue, MaGog by definition needs to access more pages and/or files on the servers, and is therefore more likely to hit those unknown limits and trigger the IP blocking.
Sent him a PM. Hopefully it gets solved within the day.

Thank you. It is quite possible that the block will expire (in ~6 hours) before he has time to see the PM, it being Sunday, but hopefully something will be done about whitelisting MaGog's IP sometime soon.

What are those Gothic changes about? Removing references to Nordic as publisher from the games? I couldn't find anything about the new files, either in this thread nor in the Gothic forum.

The version jump from 2.0.0.8 to 2.1.0.13 for Gothic 2 (just as an example) seems to imply quite a few changes, but you never know with GOG and their version naming...

Probably nothing major. Since these titles where removed before the french/german/russian stores where launched I have a feeling it has something to do with that. New language selection options and whatnot. Of course, changing the intro and/or the credits because of the change in publisher could also be a part of it.

It would be so much easier and more convenient, if GOG just published changelogs for everything. We wouldn't have to guess if it was worth re-downloading everything and GOG would probably save bandwith too.

Not if we ought to get more reasons to use Galaxy.
One reason for the existence of user profiles and online stored achievements is to gather data for statistics and advertising, selling those data makes a lot of money and it may be possible that GoG wants to increase its revenue this way which would only be natural but of course should be part of one of the next "good news" so we are at least informed about it (which would still be better than elsewhere).

Dont think so, original publisher was Jowood, my (1 year old) g2 from GOG shows Jowood and PB-logos in the beginning (its the same Intro as my 2004-Original on CD). Personally I have never seen a Nordic-games-logo.
