Great, now there's not even an announcement in the game specific forum. This gets better and better.

Let's hope this time the game runs better! I kept on seeing extremely low and "fluctuating" framerates (20-30-45-60 based on where I turned my head), even at low definitions...

Perhaps someone can help here. I've downloaded the English installer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (doesn't matter which game of the series, as it happens with all of them), and then wanted to download the Russian one. The installer files don't include any language related part in their naming, so my first download was overwritten by the second one (using the GOG Downloader). Yet the game cards mention both audio and text for different languages and there's the drop down menu for each language in my account.
Are all languages included in one installer?

in your case the russian one, then the game installer has the russian language name in it.
no idea why the russian isn't included in the mulitlanguage installer....
and it's only the case for shadow of chernobyl, others two have russian included,
note : don't be fooled by the dropdown menu -> i suggest to turn off the downloader mode , and initiate the download and cancel it (you will see if a game have a standalone installer for a specific language or not. -> by looking the name of the file) not the best idea, but at least you will know...
those dropdown menu are totaly usefess in those cases :/
personnaly i'm only interested by english & french (when avaible) installers, so i didn't noticed this "issue"

What confused me is not the drop down menu by itself, but the fact that when I switch to a different language from it, the language on the installer name and the download path changes along; turns out it's artificial and one just downloads the same files over and over.
As for the case of S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl, the multilingual and the Russian installers are different versions, perhaps a licensing thing.
Thanks again, you too, Grargar.

you could also download the md5 corresponding to a game you need there -> (open it with a text editor ie : notepad)
you will see the different files names

you will notice by the files names if a game have or not seperate standalone installer for a specific language
it's useless if the game is only avaible in english ;)
the normal use of a md5 , is of course after you have downloaded a game
