ixbt25i: Why not state this clearly from the beginning? "GOG is preparing to support multiple languages and thus, some installers are being routinely updated. Nothing to worry about". Instead, there are people moaning about bugs, the usual babble about Galaxy and what not. I thought GOG was trying to be more transparent? But then again, absolutely everything is sacrificed to this childish surprise effect.
JudasIscariot: If I could state as such, I would but since we have NDAs and all, I can't just go around saying "Hey guys, we have a French language version of our website being rolled out soon so that's why we're changing things with the installers".
As for bugs, please do send us a support ticket.
I'll assume you mean NDA's for GOG employees to not disclose GOG plans... but even so that still comes down to GOG the company not being forthcoming with info. I mean I can understand wanting to surprise GOG users every now it then, but we literally usually get nothing until it happens.
I would like to see GOG be more transparent and announce game releases and whatever else may be a happening in a particle month at the beginning of that month, instead of the last second. I would assume GOG knows what is going to happen in the beginning of each month, as far as release and such goes. I'll also assume there really isn't any NDA's on these old games.
I would also like to see GOG be more open about were Galaxy is... even perhaps doing a FAQ to get these questions we all have out in the open.
I know this isn't your decision, but perhaps you can pass this up to whoever is in charge of this stuff. Steam at-least does this
[in-regards to upcoming game releases], and if you want to compete with Steam... GOG should too.
