Does anyone have El Hijo? I got ahold of the devs and publisher on discord, and they said the most recent update shou;d now be available. I don't own the ame myself so anyone who does if you can verify.

I don't own the game as well but according to GOG DB the game should've been updated on Galaxy. Offline installer hasn't been updated yet.

The Downloads tab is showing the offline installers and the Builds tab is showing the Galaxy versions. :)

GOG DB does not detect changes if the old and the new files have very similar filesize.
old: 269887728 / 2ee3df6d7f25a02abc7aa2da0b49b584
new: 268954208 / 999b758e4d32d8bb6f5803900cd6614a
Both share exactly the same filename: setup_system_shock_enhanced_edition_1.2.16_(64bit)_(44378).exe

My reply wasn't related to the System Shock issue. It was about El Hijo. ;)

1.9.4 is wrong version number.
1.94 GOG = 1.9.1.

Ah I see. So yeah looks like it has been updated except for the offline installer (looks like you said that but I read your post wrong lol).

Updated to 1.7q4 [Galaxy (Windows & Mac) & Offline Installer (Windows)]

Changelog from Steam:
Version 1.7q4

- adjusted deco score balance (ratings were significantly lower than intended since the 1.7 update)
- fixed a case where guests could see ugly objects through walls
- macOS Metal: fixed a case where all text in the game could become invisible when using the customizable text deco object
- multiplayer: fixed a desync that could happen when placing some effects near a boat ride
These devs are working really hard on their game. :)
