I know that this is now months old, but there is a changelog for v2.51 on Steam and I am posting it here as it still is the latest version and GOG deserves the changelog just as much as Steam.

Stardock is pleased to announce the release of Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes v2.51 today. This new update makes a number of balance adjustments and optimizations to performance.

- AI update to be more greedy about getting goodie huts
- Early game technology costs reduced
- Default unit movement increased from 2 to 3 tiles.

As is the case with all .X releases, this build is cross-compatible to all previous 8193 builds. You can upgrade or downgrade both client and server and should still be able to join each other in multiplayer!

Now, that said, Steam are now two versions ahead of GOG - yet again GOG customers are treated as second class citizens.

No changelog, but an answer from a Steam user on the question, what was changed.
I contacted the developer like a week ago because my game started to run at an uncapped framerate. He sent an update to fix the issue, and now it works great again. He was really nice and all.
