MarkoH01: The beauty of GOG site has broken by introducing a very ugly new style. Please revert to the old look and feel of GOG.
Despite the even more ugly new style almost nothing is working, no more "ACCOUNT" tab, the game list is not loading, under "ABOUT" only the Galaxy page is showing (or is that intentional?), under "SUPPORT" an empty page is shown, ...
The only part which (still?) works for me is the community part.

There should also be a "Join the team" beneath the Galaxy section

Support should have 5 sections, "Game technical issues", "Orders and payments", "Account and website", "Downloads" and "GOG Galaxy".
These all from the front page, which is one of the two I have the menu bar (account page is the other one).

Could it be that you have any addons that block scripts?

Are you using AF or BE? I use neither and everything works fine for me.

...and I quite like the new design. :P

BarefootMonkey already mentioned that he would have to work on BE https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_gog_change_tracker_v2/post109 so if you are using BE that may be one reason why things are looking weird now...

I am using both BE and AF, and the new menu bar seems to work. But there was a comment that a new subdomain had to be allowed for the bar to work properly.

...and now the new design applies to the forums too! :)

PS: Is the slim (only a few pixels high) purple-ish horizontal bar above the black menu intentional? It's the only thing I don't like about the new design. :\
I prefer the new style. It even brings the avatars back.
O.K. GOG I have to ask. ARE YOU BLIND? The whole design is not symetrical at all - it just looks like crap with the shopping basket and looking glass (or what the heck this is supposed to be) appearing miles away from the rest of the account bar with just unused empty space nearby. I also never liked the black and white GOG logo and black/white generally is not very easy on the eyes and does not look good. I really wonder where you get your designers from. This is horrible! I really hope that barefoot monkey or adaliabooks will find a way to make this so optional that I never have to see this design shame again!

Several. :) But I allow everything from gog.com.

It looks like a lot of content is coming from 3rd party sites at the moment. I hope that gets fixed soon.

Current CSS:
.menu::before {
background: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.9) url("../img/bg.jpg") repeat-x scroll center top;
content: "";
height: 56px;
left: 0;
position: absolute;
right: 0;
top: 0;
width: 100%;
z-index: -1;
}

The image ../img/bg.jpg is the purple line.

Userstyle to remove the image but keep everything else the same (also needs a qualifier for the URL in order to not mess up 80% of every other site as well, I'd guess nearly everyone uses a class called "menu"):

.menu::before {
background-image: none !important;
}

I do not use BE, only Adalia Fundamentals. But Greasemonkey is disabled at the moment.

Meh, quoting of multiple posts is broken...

Menu is working meanwhile, although slow. Parts of the support page too, but it still tries to load several parts from other domains.

the support page relying on 3rd party scripts is not a new change though, it's been like that for while.
but yeah, not exactly a fan of that either.
but I hardly ever use the support section, so ... *shrug*

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately I know next to nothing about CSS and web code so I don't even know how to start applying your suggested changes. :P

It's OK though, it doesn't annoy me *that* much.
