It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

I think may have seen this before.
The stalker bar on the community pages (forum and wishlist) just turned Russian for me. It's fine on all "new" website pages.

Same problem here. The header suddenly turned to German and I can't switch it back (the setting in the bottom right isn't there). It works fine for the main page and the game pages though.

Any errors?
Usually something like is that is a problem with the legacy code or some new piece of code failing because the legacy pages aren't set up the same as the newer ones.

I am going through the same thing, except my header bar is in portuguese now.

Either someone made an honest programming mistake by changing one thing thinking it wouldn't have the side-effects that we're seeing OR someone had a really amazingly stupid idea that we should all be seeing some content localized no matter what our actual language choices are.

It's not a huge problem, but it is annoying.

Luckily it doesn't support Romanian, so no change for me, but when sites do that it's awfully infuriating, so I would call it a huge problem. I even know sites that refuse to let you switch, if you're in a country whose official language they support you just get switched back even if you select something else. And for example I stopped checking IGN when they added Romanian and the cookie reset every 24h, and that was to send me to the local version of the site entirely, not just UI language. Wrote a message to complain, they told me I can still select the US edition if I want, just that I have to do it every day, I said yeah, not happening, bye bye, and stuck to it since.
Even first-time setting should grab language from browser if set, and then any localization setting the user makes should be remembered for good.

Pet peeve...

I absolutely agree. At least I didn't have that many sites attempting to push me the language they know I should be seeing. And none that I would really miss.
Regarding GOG I just think this is an honest mistake. Hopefully it will be fixed sooner rather than later but it's not an urgent issue for me.

German for me. :(
Let's hope it gets changed back soon.

Same here - that sucks!
I wonder why they change things that never were broken.

It's a bug. Otherwise the header wouldn't still be in English on the main page and on the game pages.

I agree but still they changed something (as far as I could see they changed cookie handling) without it being necessary and in result broke this. I am still confused when trying to find the "commmunity" tab noticing it's now "forum". I used the english menus for years now. I really hope they'll fix this fast.
Ah, so it is not me alone who has the language changed in the forum?
Its weird: everywhere I have english on GoG, only the community is german!
Does GoG force the browsers now to use the local language?
Oh, and it shows that something happened in my library, but there is nothing to be seen.

Holy Schaudi ! Yeah, I have the same issue. Menu is fine on the front page, and 100% german in the forums. Ach mein Bein es tut weh was läuft ein Krimi Schnitzel prima.
Urgh. Just come to the forum and saw this language mess. Hopefully it will be fixed fast.
