KillingMoon: That's other game.
I am aware.
That's why I didn't say "you can still play that game here", I said "you can still play here" (= a similar game).
I'm not able to create any new forum threads. I've sent a support ticket to Gog to find out if it's me or them but thought I'd ask here too. So is this happening to anyone else?
Could this be a problem with the name of an already existing thread?

I don't think so.

I was naming the new CG "The Community Giveaway - 6th Edition". That name is completely different from the other iterations. I also tried to make a completely different thread titled "Testing to see if the Gog new thread function is busted" which turns out is busted because it never posted.
It's very disturbing.
On March 20, I started the thread "Just Three Words (2ed)" without any problems.

I created a thread on Monday evening in the German forum just fine.
Here's a thread created about the same time you were trying to create yours. And here's another one created about 15 minutes ago. So, it could be on your end (browser settings, addons/plugins).

EDIT: fixed messed up links; thanks, GOG.

Yeah, I'm starting to think it's something wrong with my account. I've tried 2 different computers and a phone using 3 different browsers all with the same results. I've sent a support ticket to Gog. We'll see if they can get this sorted.

You should also give it another try in a day or two, it could be GOG acting up on you for no particular reason right now (happens some times during big sales).
Maybe try asked for help by PM an online active member of the GOG team?

I see sysia_GOG is on-line,

I did contact sysia_GOG but never got a response. However, now for some reason I'm able to create new topics. The Giveaway page is up and I am currently reserving posts.
All's well that ends well :)

Sysia is a Polish forum moderator, so maybe she doesn't have competence and permissions to deal with matters outside the Polish-speaking forum?
