It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Kakarot96: I haven't tried that app since years. It is still working well? I downloaded gogrepo instead and i plan to use it to avoid coming here too many times to try again and again to see if download works. Anyway, i finally managed to download the last .bin from SW2 with browser last night.

I am not sure if my download problems has to be with the actual state of the site or no, because it's not the first time it happens (i mean, not being able to download after trying maybe 5-6 times a day in different hours to see if problems were just temporary)

It's not very frequent, though, so i never thought it was something from my browser/computer. Gogrepo will be much more comfortable to use i think, i can let it make the job without having to be here all the time, but i will try the old GOG downloader and see how it actually works, thanks!
The downloader is all I ever use to download offline installers, and I've never had any issues with it. From what I understand, it downloads from multiple servers and does an auto CRC check, like a torrent client would. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that.

Alexim: I no longer receive notification emails when I make a purchase, does anyone have the same problem?
avatar
Cavalary: Now that you mention it, yes. Hadn't even realized it.
Support has emailed me that they believe they have found and fixed the problem that has been causing some of us to not receive email confirmations. I have received the manually resent receipts, however the Resend Gift Code button still does not seem to work. They are currently investigating my Wallet Funds issue, so at this time I am unable to confirm if the automatic email confirmations are indeed fixed.

I already downloaded the installer from the link you gave me, so i'm going to try it. I really thought it was not working anymore so it's a very nice surprise! :D

Thank you again!

Yep, got a confirmation right away after I bought an Anniversary Collection and some free DLCs a few hours ago.
I was not notified about yesterday's Shadow Warrior freebie and a purchase on Monday.

Thank you for letting me know. :) Let's hope it stays fixed for everyone. (cautiously optimistic)
So, my library is completely shattered, with all the drop menu options displayed all over the page, all the games showing on one column (left-side), and general pandemonium and chaos and terrible things.

I assumed that it was a sudden incompatibility with essentials/fundamentals, but deactivating them and relaunching the (opera) browser doesn't solve it.

Is it just an issue on my side ?

I am not seeing any problem currently with my library/games shelf in either grid or list mode on an up-to-date Firefox browser with no essentials/fundamentals. Hope you can get it solved soon.

No problems here with Firefox and using both essentials/fundamentals. Have you tried logging out and back in again?

Yes. Also, restarted computer several times since. No change, still all weirdly scrambled.

I'll do what any tech-savvy elite poweruser would do : wait it out.

Edit : Ok, some l33t cache-purging did it. I should really ask the browser to do it automatically upon restart (I always assume it does, probably a habit from former browsers with former settings).

Another match on the fire of why does it appear GOG only tested with Galaxy and Chrome, even though Chrome has been classified as a worrse standards violator than even IE when they were the largest and worst.

Sent from the Galaxy client as I won't install Chrome.

Because they just care about the largest market share.
Then again, weren't there reports of issues in Chrome too?

Mini bug report for GOG:

No games showing on new/upcoming/etc. game lists linked to from front page if you click through to the Everything page and then go to page 2 or beyond before clicking on one of the other tab categories:

https://www.gog.com/games?page=2&sort=title&tab=new
https://www.gog.com/games?page=2&sort=title&tab=coming
https://www.gog.com/games?page=2&sort=title&tab=on_sale

https://www.gog.com/games?page=2&sort=title works though.

The reason it is broken is because it first lands on the Everything page, which has multiple pages on it. If you click through a few pages into the Everything list it puts the page number in the URL. If you then click on the new/upcoming/on sale tabs, it tries to load them but keeps the page number in the URL. If they do not have a page number that was carried through then it will generate a page showing no games.

This is a bug because it should not keep the page number when shifting between tabs as they are independent lists of unrelated data insofar as any page numbers is concerned. It should reset the page number to the 1st page when switching between tabs.

These work as they all link to page 1 of each category.

https://www.gog.com/games?page=1&sort=title&tab=new
https://www.gog.com/games?page=1&sort=title&tab=coming
https://www.gog.com/games?page=1&sort=title&tab=on_sale

Proposed solution: Edit the javascript code or whatever that handles switching tabs between game lists and update the code to always switch to page 1 when switching lists. (I didn't look at the code personally, so just making assumption that is how it works.)
New website design looks nice and has a bunch of long time needed improvements. Unfortunately, the new website causes a massive spike in CPU load causing my brand new $1500 laptop to become useless for many tasks if Galaxy is running in the background with the store front page loaded, or if my web browser has the store front page loaded.

On a fresh start of Galaxy loading to the start page, with no downloads or updates running, Galaxy uses a minimum of 12% of my CPU and up to 45% of my CPU just sitting there idling minimized.

I presume this is due to the new website code being just rolled out and in beta or whatnot. It's kind of unacceptable though in terms of leaving Galaxy running when not actually using it, and having it eat that much CPU resources when running a game is kind of unacceptable too. Hope y'all got your top men working on performance optimization. :)

Going to have to disable Galaxy at boot and when I'm not using it for now, and make sure no GOG web pages are idle in my browser. I can't even watch a FHD Twitch stream or YouTube video without them skipping and stuttering constantly. Exit Galaxy completely and make sure no GOG web pages are loaded and I can fire up 4 HD streams simultaneously with no problems though.

Kind of a bummer for now.
