Then why the misleading name? It's like talking about a sandbox when you actually only have one grain of sand...

Not at all. You'll be able to manage multiple planets simultaneously, that makes an universe :)

zeffyr: Yup, it includes all the previous ones. So with 40$ you get the game, cowscraper (!), access to alpha and beta, soundtrack, wallpapers, manual, art book and thank you letter. Uff :)
Awesome, thanks! I think I may have to splash out on that tier then!

Holy crap, now that's an ambitious project.

Good luck!
I think I'll either back for the €15 or €20 tier. I just noticed that having the soundtrack isn't that important to me. Or goodies in general, except if it's a game I really dig, I guess.

Also, the only thing which bugged me a bit was how small the planets are....but I'll get used to that, hopefully!
It's also really cool how much diversity they want to have with the different planets and their wildlife, will really be a cool and fun game if everything come to fruition!
kudos to the devs for trying something a bit different ( it always feels like majority of game projects are usually platformers, adventures or tower defense clones IMHO). might even bump up my backing :)
One other funding question - if one goes the PayPal route, does it count towards the final goal? And do you still get the same tier items as a regular contributor? Sorry for the novice questions, but I like to be sure before doling out the dosh. :)

You get all the stuff as a regular contributor does. PayPal payments (I'm not 100% sure about that) aren't included in amount of money pledged (currently 170k$) visible on KS page but they are count into goals limits (320k and so on).

Do not hesitate and back the project! Also as a PayPal backer you can increase your order's amount later if needed :-)
Too bad I haven't seen this in the beginning the $10 early bird was something withing my gaming budget :)

They've run out like in 1 or 2 days after the KS campaing started. But 15$ is still a fair price. Remember that after release it might be (and probably will be) higher than that.

Ugh, I did see it in the early days when there were still $10 tier openings. I decided to wait and see what other people had to say about the game, and whether it would be likely to reach its goal. I'm sure kicking myself now. XD

Don't worry, about this time in 2016 it will be around $5-8 on sale... or will be in some bundle.

About this time next year we might be playing beta version and counting down last six months to release... ;-)

My bad, for some reason I just saw the October in the target date... not the 2015 :/. Oh well :D
