I got a notification of 3 (supposedly new I gather) wishlisted titles on sale, but no e-mail. Was something added? Because I don't notice anything...

I checked within the last 3 hours and didn't see anything new. Hoping something might drop in the next 7 minutes at the usual GoG day change.

GreatNorthern: I've waited so patiently to buy The Witcher 3 - this was going to be the sale where I had the funds/inclination to make my purchase and...it's not on sale. Figures! :)
I wouldn't give up hope just yet. We may see a few more games added before the end of the sale and I'd be very surprised if The Witcher 3 didn't figure in such a big sale.

Lucian_Galca: Christ gog, give some notification ahead of time if games are going to be dropped from the sale before the end of the sale.
There can't be such notification, because none of the games is planned to be remove. They just make sometimes mistakes and remove single titles as a corrections. That's my guess.

My today's email notification contained 22 titles and I think none of them was new discount. I suppose their system can't handle very long wishlists and today's email is continuation of yesterday's notification.
Already own Xenonauts ^^

At least these ones:

GOG.com: UPDATE: Check out these new games that just arrived on our beach, looking all hot and bothered: The Age of Decadence, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter, Outcast - Second Contact, a bunch of Stronghold Crusaders, and Dungeon Rats!

PixelHunt: You could be right. I vaguely remember folks in previous sales naming lists that I never saw myself.

So which country got assigned Adventure Gamers, I wonder? It seems silly but maybe GOG knows where all the Point & Click lovers are concentrated… :)

WildHobgoblin: Not Germany, apparently. Which is quite surprising to me :)
Though we do seem to be crazy about them Japanese games (JP games) and a guy called asmoogl.

(But yes, this has been the MO for some time now. Sometimes some hard-working Gogers feel inclined to make a list, IIRC.)
It seems Israel is! Or at least is now, as I didn't see it before... actually seems all the list changed, I also got AusGamers now ^-^

IronArcturus: How is that Guild of Dungeoneering game? What engine does it use?
I'm not sure on the engine but I've enjoyed Guild of Dungeoneering - I recommend it. It's a simple puzzle game but is refreshing in that it's easy to pick up and play a round or two - there's strategy involved but it's not very complicated. Levels are randomized enough it's easy to replay through but can eventually get monotonous looking at the plain white landscapes. The difficulty is sufficient that I've found myself enjoying having to work to unlock new gear/characters and replay earlier levels for credits to do so. I find myself playing it more on my phone than PC because the interface works well with touchscreen and is easy on the go.

You are dealt 5 cards to play - these are a combination of landscape connections, enemies, and gems/coins. You must build a landscape in optimal fashion for the mission (some you must kill an enemy is x turns, others avoid a more powerful foe until you can buff up, etc). The character moves independently so usually follows the landscape path you've built with conditions that the character will chase gold and respond to enemies. Each battle victory lets you chose between (typically) three sets of gear to power up so engineering battles early on to build you character is instrumental. Gear unlocks new cards used in combat. Cards have physical (red) damage or magical (blue) damage and some have shields which block magical and/or physical; other cards alter conditions (i.e. let you see enemy card, add an additional card choice, etc). Each level has your character start from scratch - you unlock new character classes and gear as you play by earning credits each level.
Hmm.... Still no Witcher 3 on sale. Have the feeling it will be a big surprise on this sale with that.
Very nice summersale, too bad i own all the games i like already.

The also recommended does NOT work properly, i thought that was fixed by now it didn't work in 2014, and it still doesn't show all the games i own.

check attachment: alsobought.jpg

the items marked with a check are the games i also own but are not shown ( it rhymes)

i have a reasonable memory so i knew by-heart i owned these games ( the ones with the black check sign)
but it is impossible to know all >499 games by-heart .......... :D

If there's going to be any surprise during this sale I guess it will be something about Cyberpunk 2077. Maybe pre-order?
Anything new today of note?
