Hello.
How long it will take to be able to buy The Quest HD on gog?
The game was known to be the best first person RPG for smartphones in 2006, and now they released HD version for PC.
Everyone who is RPG fan and was playing this game, will confirm above.
There are many new "under development" games, but where is finished The Quest HD?
The game is already on steam with very positive reviews, but I do not like steam and I am waiting for gog release.
I already asked original developers, and they responded that gog does not reply to their emails.
What is going on here?
apparantley gog isnt interested
wont be the first time

Mobile game, adding HD to it isn't going to make it any better. Personally, looking at the screenshots, it looks ok, for 1990's game, wouldn't even dream of InDev purchase, but for a very small amount of money, I might consider it on sale. As for "positive reviews" and "Everyone who is an RPG fan", reviews are meaningless to me, and I am an RPG fan and haven't even heard of this, although mobile games are of very little interest to me.
On 23rd December 2015 someone said it is coming to GOG in the "Unofficially Confirmed Games" thread:

http://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_that_are_unofficially_confirmed_for_release_in_the_future_part_2/post2465

Unfortunately they didn't post a source, so I can not say if it was legit. But I hope to see this game here too.

I know how mobile games are simplified, because I played many in the middle of 2000s on my smartphone.
It was not like Java mini game anyway.
I would never heard about this game too, because it was originally released for PocketPC device with Windows 2003 system.
These guys made also other very popular RPG game called Legacy for PalmOS devices, before The Quest.
All these games are known mainly for older smartphone and PalmOS users, and completely not by PC only users.
"Everyone who is an RPG fan" is linked with "and was playing this game", because I know that each RPG gamer can be different.
I finished this game years ago and I can confirm that it is close to be named RPG in comparision to other games advertised to be in that genre (and in practice gameplay they are not).
This game is not just hack and slash, it is non linear open world with meaningful choices, various solutions and sometimes surprising endings of quests.
There is also not much first person RPGs on the market, especially ones that offer varied and advanced gameplay experiences.
The Quest should not be judged by screens only or just commercial descripion that sounds familiar to other claimed RPG games.
Too bad there is no demo, so someone is not able to meet it in practice.
I guess there could be some gameplay videos from classic version on YouTube.
