Seriously guys, you all need to calm down a bit. Somebody can die unnecessarily. With all that shooting I say we are all lucky noone get shot. You all really needs yo laid back more.

Now that video is a good place to start. It is an evidence, recorded in the dark, anything suspicious will shows up clearly there. I'd say we take a look at Mike's Video first
Zeagold it is not longer up to you to decide what is legal or not, WE decide!

You just have to follow our commands, that's what you asked us to do, so now live with it!

pffffft, illegal.....as we would care..... we a re looking for the truth, WHEREVER it is hiding, nothing will stop us.
Wake up this morning ready to dive in and see what this is all about, and lo and behold my chat is broken. As a matter of fact the only thing that works right now for me on GOG is the forums. I can't access my library, account, or chat at all. Sometimes GOG frustrates me. I have no clue what is going on or when it will be fixed, but hopefully whatever it is they fix it soon. As soon as it's fixed I'll post something relevant to the game.
Well ignore my last post, it seems everything is working now and that my chat had nothing to do with the game except to tell me that game was live (I see now the case posted above).

My first question is did Leroy call the police or tamper with the body in anyway, as in checking a pulse or shaking it? None of this was mentioned in the narrative.

My second question is if the alarm was turned on did it not have to be disabled to open the door without going off? The alarm system at my house works that way. If I open the front door without turning the alarm off it will go off after a short amount of time. I would like to call the alarm company to see if they can tell when the alarm was turned on and off.

I also agree that we need to view the video tape to see if there is anything to be shown on it.

Dear fellow Detective Olf,

I looks like that they haven't told you a lot in those fancy new schools, didn't they?

As our fellow Detective Gold has nicely collect all this information already. Did they not teach you read this? Man if this would happen in the good old world. I can't believe.
But just out of the goodness of my hard I let you read this time from my notes.

*passes his notes over to Olf*

zeogold: There was even a peephole in the door and the alarm had been turned on. Why in the world would she turn off the system and open the door to a gunman wearing fatigues and a mask?
You owe me something here! ;)

I am questioning whether she turned the alarm off and opened the door. There's no video surveillance in the house so I want to know if everyone has their own alarm code and whose was used to turn the alarm off. If you want to make assumptions go right ahead but I would prefer to have more facts to on. Unless you would like to point out where it's stated that her code was used to open the door or that there's a universal code being used by everyone (poor security if that's the case).
Well, after observing the facts, me thinks that we should interrogate the co-workers of Markus Jones.
ok, so i didn't treat this particularly seriously last night as I didn't want to think about it before bed. Also on my crappy laptop, so reading is a bit of a pain in the butt.

Things that stand out:

1) The Master Bedroom evidence stands out, since it doesn't seem directly connected to the crime. Guess: Either evidence is present relating to the victims' larger story/case, or the room was overturned which stands in contrast to the producer's testimony.

Tomfoolery in the bedroom would tend to point to the producer. Might be a false lead, but might also be key. Was surprised, however, that none of the evidence seems to involve pulling phone records to confirm/deny the producer's alibi.

2) Even if Mike has a partial alibi from the tape, that doesn't prove he wasn't part of a conspiracy. E.g. the farmer could've shot what's his butt; then Mike takes the gun, shoots whats-her-butt while farmer ditches the clothing, then both return to whats-his-butt and ditch the gun.

3) The shot placement suggests a) either the killer was not a pro/marksman, and/or b) the intent was not to kill the male victim.

Anyway, this is still a pretty superficial read. Will revisit the case tonight, maybe.
I feel persecuted. :( I knew I didn't like Mafia. *hugs self*

Sorry only quick reply and not in Role-sync, sorry feeling bad:

Valid point, but shall normally not only the owners have the codes? Why shall a friend have the code?

to produce a phony phone alibi is far too easy, just forward the IIRC office number to the time/date-service and there you go. Phone alibi is never a good one.

Also if he heard the shot and was next to a phone, why didn't he call police?

Unfortunate zeagold did not state how the wife was being shot. Clean head shot of what?

How did the killer knew in the first place where they (M&M) were heading when leaving? Were they being followed? Was wife being shot first maybe?

And a killer having different sportsmanship classes doesn't sound right either.. Unless being an untrained person with nerves.

Farmer theory, if Markus bled to death, this is hard to pre-calculate. They might have easily showed up too early.

If wife was killed first and Leroy was the killer, the order would make sense. First killing the wife, getting the stuff on, hunting down M&M shooting M in a hurry, wiping gun off, dropping it there, running back disposing cloths going inside and switching alarm on.(valid question from Det. Olf: does it need a code to switch on?)

As both murders happened at the 'same' time it will be really hard.

Can the logs be viewed?

Sorry for misselling or similar. and for the quick reply only.

YOU are not with the police, effendi. The minute I catch any one of you breaking the law, you are all off the case. El elden üstündür.
