ashwald: Let's start with the Coroner's Report.

And a question for the telephone technician afterwards: Is it possible to check from the phone company's records if a call that was made to a specific landline then gets redirected to a cellphone?
Yes.

Bookwyrm627: Man, you've come a ways. I remember when you first showed up in a giveaway with like 8 rep or something, and just barely didn't make the cut off. Now look at you. :)
....gee...just look at the way I'VE come....
...
Somehow, I get the feeling this only makes me look guiltier.

Djaron: By the way, Zeogold... would you be guilty (proven as such, or not) or next victim from your crazy family member, i would glady play a requiem for you (and possibly execute the sentence as well if needed... *grin*)

Yes, the phone company would be able to check this. Whether they WILL check this in the evidence is a whole different matter.

That's very true. I'm afraid though, that I can't really call you Yoyo anymore. Sady, you're mostly just a yo now.

Hey Bailiff? Would you please prepare to break the defendant's leg(s)? He seems like he might be attempting to resist arrest.

sunshinecorp: Yes.
in fact, yes... the landline record will show that it called the cellphone
but on the original caller, it will show a call toward the landline and not toward the redirection target

however, trails of all this could either dissapear, be bugged, false positive, or whatever, if phone operators are differents between landline and redirection target cellphone
Let`s hear the telephone technician maybe he heard some dirty secrets.

Exactly.

Nice to see I'm not missing out on anything in this weekend. :p
*Looks very creeped out after looking arounfd the courtroom*
Are we all part of an episode of the Zeo Family... Maybe, I'd rather go back to the werewolf town were defendants wield guns and were lawyers are considered "undesirables". :P

Looking at Mrs. Goldilocks, I don't even wanna know...

*discretly shows a drawing of Admiral Ackbar*

I hope you get the hint :P

Vote: Coroner's Report

Also the security guard seems somewhat "inept" at keeping people out of the victims room.

Also, can we have a physical description of the security officer, as from what I'm understanding about him he must be some 60+ old guy with either bad hearing or a very weak bladder (assuming he didn't outright sleep on duty) :P

Mainly assumptions so far, as only two people were supposed to have access to the victim, the guard and Mr. Puzzlemaster.

WHAT? YOU'LL HAVE TO SPEAK LOUDER! I WAS AT A MONSTER MAGNET CONCERT, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STAGE. I'M AFRAID I'M DEAF NOW. TOTALLY WORTH IT!
The Coroner's Report is acceptable to me.

Unvote Whatever-I-Voted-Previously.
Vote Coroner's Report.
We await the vote of Bler and Amrit. Amrit has stated that he might not have the time to participate, and I'm still waiting to hear back from him on whether he's still in or not. If not, [spoiler alert] we might actually get sanfueg to show signs of life.
Oh, hey, there's a game happening here.

Just arrived, skimmed it. Two thoughts:

1) Doogie Howser, M.D. scoffs at your "medical degree at 18."
2) Same thing Wyrm noted - why did the doctor visit the patient at 12:30 am (and why did the guard allow entry) if the order was that he was off limits til dawn? Seems discrepant yet intentional.

Knee-jerk reaction is that he was escaping and was shot outside the building. Even with a pillow to muffle sound a gun isn't exactly "quiet" - depending on the gauge of the gun from what I've seen it's still going to report over 100 dB. No way a guard stationed outside the room is going to miss that if the shot was fired inside the building.

Not that I, uh, know from experience.

Working theory - zeogold pushed him out the window, removing the cast to sow confusion, while his sister used a slingshot to fire the bullet up and the combined speed of the bullet upward colliding with the body pulled downward by gravity, and voila!

I'm just kidding... or am I?

Vote whatever. Coroner report is fine by me.

I'll read it for real tomorrow night. Probably.

Well, I was GOING to shoot for sooner with some sort of accelerated program at a hospital, but the minute I walked in, one patient was screaming his head off about a mouse, one was dancing with a mop, and the rest of them were forming a conga line. At that point, I decided it was better to just go for the NORMAL-length program.

Well, y'see, the thing is, I, uh, er...
WELL, WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT! WE GOT OURSELVES A MAJORITY, FOLKS!
You can now either vote to get on with it or wait for amrit.
I'll take my trusty pointy stick and give him a poke via PM.
