sanfueg: I'm sorry for the delay.
Don't worry about it. The day USUALLY doesn't go this quickly, but this time it just happened to do so.

We can now move along!
...just like I'll be moving along!

The votes are in! Let's review what happened today.

The votes rolled in quickly, with a clear majority for the nurse. However, Sunshinecorp soon got thirsty, and let the Puzzlemaster out of his restraints to go fetch a drink while the bailiff was using the bathroom. The jury chided him for it, assuming the defendant would escape, but surprisingly, he came back, holding a can of soda.
"Thanks little buddy," said the old rocker, who opened the can only to have it spray all over him and the rest of the jury. Habanerose used Bler as a shield while Omega pulled out a small bar of soap and began bathing himself in the rain of soda. Sanfueg snapped his fingers, and a cloud formed Maxvorstadt's place. Suddenly, Maxvorstadt appeared, and opened the umbrella attachment on his gun, which everybody quickly huddled under (except for Omega, who began singing a warbly opera tune).
The Puzzlemaster then bolted out the door, with nobody to stop him this time. Or at least, so he thought.
Sanfueg and ShadowPatriarch looked at each other and both nodded. Omega leaned in and grinned. Sanfueg snapped his fingers and ShadowPatriarch laughed as the three of them, disappeared in a puff of inky blackness and slime.
Suddenly, a loud "GAH!" was heard. A few moments later, the missing jurors rematerialized, with the defendant caught between the three of them.
The defendant was dragged off, and came back in a suit of metal armor welded to his chair.

Everybody is just as confused about this as they look.

The judge calls for silence!

Good day, Judge. Good day, members of the court. Good day, farting person. I would like to call Dre Almer to the stand now.

Ohmy! Excuse me! I do apologize, I get gassy when I'm nervous! I'm so nervous. Sorry! Hello, hi, hello there. *makes way up and sits* *a smallest of high-pitched farts escapes Dre as she sits*

Excuse me! My!
Ms Almer, could you, please, give us your testimony and tell exactly what you saw?
Well, I was doing my normal rounds and came into the room just before 2 and immediately went tense when I noticed Mr. Lindo wasn't in his bed! His hospital clothes were piled on the chair there. I decided to check his closet, and all his clothes, his wallet, and keys, were gone, and his crutches were there propped against the wall. I started to get a reaallly bad feeling. I scanned around the room, trying to make sense of anything, trying to figure how he would have done all that...*pause*...and then I saw his inflatable cast up against the window sill. I don't know why but I went right over to it and then clear as day out the window, right under the bright lampost, they have it aimed right at the dumpster, you see, so people know it's there, and it was open and I could see right inside! And I could see a body! I could see it clear as DAY I tell you. I looked at my watch right then and it was exactly 2AM.

I couldn't tell it was Mr. Lindo right away, but I could tell it was definitely a body, and with Mr. Lindo missing, well, I might not be the smartest, but I just knew it had to be Mr. Lindo in there.

*gasps*...

...hm.
Ms. Almer, did you happen to see anything unusual happen that night, before you discovered the body?

Questioning the witness.

zeogold: Questioning the witness.
OBJECTION!
I see no reason the defendant should be able to do this.

I'm also overseeing this court, despite my current position.
Now, sit down. This is a grand jury. The defense is not allowed to cross-examine the witness.

Ms. Almer, please continue.
Actually, yes, yes I did see something, or rather, someone!

It was just at 1:30am, I had a 5 minute break and I sat on a bench (my damn bunions and ingrown toe-nails, I should really see a doctor about these things!) in the hallway to rest my feet. They keep the lights low that time at night. Or morning, rather, I guess, hehe *littlefart* Ohmy! Excuse me!

Anyway! You can still see clear down the end of the hall despite the low lights, they don't want us tripping, you know. But then...I don't know where she appeared from, I think I had my eyes shut for just a second, and I saw someone. I'm quite sure it was a woman, I noticed them making their way down the hall, away from me, it looked like they were going from doorway to doorway checking the room numbers, which aren't the easiest to see with the light in the hallway at night, so I could tell that is definitely what she was looking at, I think. I was going to call out to her, but before I even got the chance she opened the stairwell door and was on her way down. I could hear and it definitely sounded like she was going down, I think.

I didn't think too much of it at first, but then when getting asked by the police, I remembered seeing her. Ohhh, I wish I would have seen her sooner and gotten a better look, or even talked to her!

That will be all. Thank you.

Time for us all to turn in and wait until the next day.
