Anyone else have the issue where the purple dot to let you know there replies to a forum post is not clearing?

This started yesterday or maybe early this morning, I can't recall.

It's a glitch with the forum. It happens to me too, sometimes. It goes away after a while.

It's pretty surprising too given both the state-of-the-art platform and the constant upgrades and improvements.

Probably somebody answered to one of your post on a now deleted thread. The thread is flagged as deleted so you cannot read the post but the thread still exists in the forum DB you still have the notification.

Haven't had this happen in a few months now (hopefully I didn't jinx it....). Anyway, use the method in the thread Darvond linked. I also recommend marking that thread as favorite so you don't have to dig for it every time that happens. I think it also happens when someone quotes you, then edits the post and removes the quote before you read it.

Yep, that happened to me about a month ago, and the purple dot finally went away this weekend.

All part of the fun on the GOG forums. "What's going to go wrong today?"

Now I'm in the club too!
