I don't think anyone has attempted to state an age for her, and not all anime girls are 10, shocking as it may be.

Edit: The Mario Bros are in their 20s.

She's not a loli dude. I don't know why you think she is.

Maverick89: GOG PR needs to grow a pair. This is sad. They cave on anything. They removed the mascot after SJW started complaining.

Linko90: No, no we did not. And frankly, you're on thin ice given your constant tweets throwing abuse, and now throwing more abuse while telling lies.

I'd suggest you change the way you act if you wish to remain here.

I don´t have twitter. And you caved again. When you announced the mascot you nothing about being only for the sale. After a few SJW complained you said it´s only for the sale. You caved once, now they won´t stop, ever. You called your customers abusers, now this is your new audience. Have fun with them while the real gamers buy games on steam.

RWarehall: Given we just came off a Game Journalism joke from a game that certain groups tried to link to Gamergate, I thought it unwise that the next major tweet use the word "chan" which someone could link to "4chan" with another Gamergate association.

wingboner: This is ridiculous - the -chan part of 4chan (or any Japanese textboard or imageboard-style anonymous forum) comes from "channel".
It may be ridiculous, but that doesn't stop some people from making such ridiculous connections. I'm just saying...
It certainly hasn't stopped people from claiming the image is over-sexualized...because if an female image isn't as prudish as they wish, it is some sort of offense.

I'm just kidding. Though she still creeps me out. I can't help it, for me this anime vomitingly cutesy way of drawing women makes all of them give of this loli vibe, even when they are not actually underage.

Are you implying the Mario Bros are girls?

This argument is getting really boring.
I'm gonna go hang out in the removed tweet thread. :P

I'd let them - those are blatant lies easily disproven, made by clearly malicious people. I just hope GOG doesn't start apologizing at this point, again. Bleh.

I'm implying that people can look older or younger than they look. The assumption is that they're in their 40s or something, but Shegeru himself cleared up the matter relevantly recently.

I believe my reply was quite calm and civil. The fact you were joking is besides the point here.
I asked you nicely. No need for that backlash.

And true enough, GoG can't win with some of those people regarding Anime anyway. Should have seen all the journalists complain about Steam a few weeks ago, after someone gamed their report system to send removal warnings to all those Anime and Manga games. Then Steam decided it was easier to get out of the censorship business than deal with future attacks like that.

You guys apologized to a twitter mob by calling a chunk of your customers abusers. I'm not as shallow as them as to completely write you off because of one statement that you made in a panic. However you guys deserve the skepticism and ire you get from customers. Maybe you will think things through a bit more before taking sides on something you did not need to. I also find it highly ironic that you called a movement for calling out unethical journalists "abusive" in response to a journalist saying they would stop "supporting" you because of a tweet.

When it comes down to it, all these obnoxious outrage/concern farming people on Twitter do is just another form of trolling - there are entire profiles built on doing mostly that in order to stay relevant (or as relevant as one can delude himself to be online). And the best way to deal with trolling is to ignore it.
