Going to enter for this: Homeworld® Remastered Collection

For favourite gaming system that I had in my youthful days, I'd say it was the Golden China TV Games system. It was a Clone NES system in the same time frame as the nes. It had almost all the NES games available to buy at the mainstreet shops, but I've found that quite a few of these cartridges won't work on today's clones. For games the normal crowd of nes games: SMB, Antartic Adventure, Adventure Island kep me busy

Thanks for the great giveaway, what a list! I would like to enter for

12. Day of the Tentacle Remastered
14. Undertale
27. GoNNER: Press Jump To Die Edition

The gaming system I am most fond of is the NES. My brother and I got it as a present as kids and it was our introduction to video games. We were amazed at how easily you could make a plumber jump by just pressing a button :) This plumber also helped shape my future, as back then I decided I wanted to make games when I grow up. Well, I am a software engineer now (not in the games industry) but I have actually created some small games when I had free time!
Not in!

I've already been sniped by Doc0075 with a very generous gift, I'm just here to add my thanks for the great giveaway. +1

Favourite gaming system would definitely be the SNES, actually, more the memories associated with it. The moment I figured out that you can take the other player's life in Contra is one of my best gaming memories. I'm actually tempted to boot up my raspberry pi now.

Please count me in for:

13. Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition
15. Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition

And thanks for the chance Doc!
This is an insanely generous giveaway!
Doesn't say what the deadline to enter is though... And should we list the games we're interested in in order of preference, so those getting picked will get the first one on their list that no previous pick got, if any?

As for the system, only ever played on PC, a NES clone and a Spectrum 48k clone. Never wanted anything to do with consoles (that NES clone meant something to play on when parents were using the computer, and came with a bunch of preinstalled games so was easy access, but eh...). So always PC here, and always desktops. Obviously not the first ones that weren't intended for gaming, but by the time I got one in '92 those days were behind. Imagine Amiga would have amazed me when comparing it with a "business" PC of the day, but it was before my time.
As for why PC, versatility, can do a whole lot on it, the open software platform and little control imposed by manufacturers (that's definitely getting way, way worse in recent years, but still...), and for gaming keyboard and mouse are the right controls, anything else is so terribly limited I still wonder who got the idea that those could be considered control systems, not to mention how so many actually like them. Then also customization, being able to pick parts and put it together and take it apart and make changes, plus overall better reliability and ability to fix (or replace just that bit) when something does go wrong.

(PS: I'm quite sure I played Pinball Fantasies back in the day. But on PC.)

Now, assuming I should list all the games I'm interested in in order, let's see:

- Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition
- Serpent in the Staglands
- War for the Overworld Ultimate Edition
I'm in for:

11. Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
26. Mafia
16. Homeworld® Remastered Collection

I've tried some game systems but PC is the best for me, favourite games being Fallout 1-2, Baldurs Gate 1-2

Thanks
Thank you, Doctor! Let's see if Lady Luck kisses me. I would like to enter for:

14. Undertale
17. Little Nightmares
23. Chroma Squad
26. Mafia

With maximum priority for Mafia. You know, games that make you feel right at home! XD

I started playing classics like DOOM, Wolfenstein 3D and Raptor on a DOS computer, but I couldn't use it very much because it was my uncle's workstation.
Even if I always preferred PCs by far, the real special system for me is the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis in the US), the very first one I personally owned. At the time it was fantastic, with unprecedented speed and fluidity, a very high quality audio and graphics to blow away the competition!
For example, everyone was raving about Super Castlevania IV (a game I love, mind me) but in my opinion Bloodlines on Mega Drive was much better overall, with faster and more varied gameplay and even two playable characters, even in split screen. There was also a 3D (maybe pseudo-3D but still) level on the tower of Pisa! Epic!
My favourite platform has always been PC.
Retrocompatible with almost everything thanks to emulators and VMs, more powerful than consoles since ages, less expensive in the long run, with freely moddable and patchable games, useful also for other things than simply playing.
Consoles only have exclusives and convenience on their side (this has decreased drastically too).
I can see the appeal of the old ones, however, remembering the glorious PS1 :')

I'm in for these big ones:
- War for the Overworld Ultimate Edition
- Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition

I'd like to be in just for Serpent in the Staglands.

Playstation 2 is the one that really defined gaming for me. The jump from blocky 3d to something better, the massive amount of original titles in so many experimental genres (Mister Mosquito, .Hack, War of the Monsters, Shadow of the Colossus...) that expanded the type of content I could experience, and for keeping my mind occupied during times when I had nothing else to stimulate and engage me simultaneously. Many wonderful memories. <3
Thanks for the giveaway Doc, this is very generous of you.

As for my favorite gaming system, even if I never owned one, I think it has to be hands down the SNES. As a console-less city kid, I was jumping through the roof every time I managed to escape the monotony and visited my friend's house to play together Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Zelda, Steet Fighter, or that Dragon Ball game I sucked so bad at. Looking back those were great shared memories and I wouldn't trade them for anything less than having lived in the Swiss Alps surrounded by animals like Heidi.

I'm in for:

5. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition
9. Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
17. Little Nightmares

Good luck!
Thanks for the giveaway, Doc0075.

5./10. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition

I'd probably have to say I have the fondest memories of the Sega. For some reason my brother an I just loved Golden Axe. We never were able to actually get the game, only play it at friends/cousins houses. ha.
Thank you Doc for this very generous giveaway! I'm in for:

- War for the Overworld Ultimate Edition
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition
- Thea: The Awakening
- Mafia
- Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition
- Day of the Tentacle Remastered
- Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
- Cryptark
- GoNNER: Press Jump To Die Edition
- Serpent in the Staglands
- Chroma Squad

My favorite gaming system was Commodore Amiga too. I've never had one of them but I've played a lot of games on them with my friends. Psygnosis' Amiga games have a special place for me, especially the incredible "Agony". Since "Agony", I love playing well made side-scrolling shoot'em ups.
Im in for
16. Homeworlds Remastered Edition
20. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

Despite being a PC gamer for most of my life, the game systme that I love the most has to be the xbox 360. I remember so many sleepovers with my friends staying up till 2 or 3 in the morning playing halo together and enjoying every second of it. The system also reminds me of a time where I had fewer problems and the world was much simpler.

Thanks for doing the giveaway and to anyone who reads this, Have a wonderful day!

:)
Not In.
I had won games from a couple of your previous GAs.
Kudos for your generosity Doc.
Thank you for another of your insanely generous giveaways!

I'd like to be in for:

7. Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition
13. Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition
5. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition
10. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition
21. Serpent in the Staglands
22. Din's Curse/ Din's Curse: Demon War
3. Door Kickers
23. Chroma Squad
8. Homeworld® Remastered Collection
16. Homeworld® Remastered Collection

Thank you for including so many games with native Linux support in this giveaway! Tempted me enough to include several of them. :)

As for a gaming system I love: Just modern PCs. Any dedicated gaming system for me pales next to having a modern general purpose computer, that I can run general purpose software on - and then also play gorgeous looking games on - and be in complete control of it all. (I do also have fond memories of playing games on our Commodore Amiga, back when - but I'm pretty certain current day reality is better than my rose colored memories of back then.) :)
