The thumbnail is Graham Taylor a football manager who died recently. He was England manager at one point but more importantly to myself, he managed Watford taking us from obscurity to runners-up to Liverpool in the top league and into Europe. He also made us the model family club which many others then copied across the country.
He is considered a legend where I live and was affectionately known as God.

To the other question, Bonnie was 12 when she died and passed peacefully in her sleep.

That's awesome! I always love threads like this (I'm a sucker for pets, love dogs and obviously am extremely biased toward one sort in particular ;) ).

If it isn't too much trouble and you feel so inclined, toss up a few pictures when you pick her up?

Any details on your new family member? What does she look like, how old, any idea of her history - that sort of thing? Make sure you spoil her... I always ascribed to the Ambrose Bierce definition of a dog - they're a sort of subsidiary diety designed to absorb the excess love of mankind.

You can't just replace a beloved animal like furniture. It takes time to grieve and I wouldn't be ready for a long time for a new pet. They are like family members to me.

It's always difficult when you lose a pet, because they are members of the family. Valentina will help fill the void left by Bonnie. Be sure to spoil your new friend rotten.

Very sorry to hear about Bonnie, but good to see you give another poor soul a chance. I assume that you mean that "a hole that I'm sure Valentina will fill" as in her bringing joy into your life, and allowing you to make a new bond, which is something wonderful for the both of you. I'm a dog person myself, and would, like Ixamyakxim, like to see a couple of pics, if you feel like it.
