That's kind of why I don't post in too many topics ;) That alt person has the power to reduce rep very fast.

that's what i think has happened with a lot of people. He/she has people scared to do things in the forums like the use to.

Problem is, a very simple IP tracert would easily show them on GOG's end and make the misery stop.... But GOG doesn't seem to care about getting rid of that person.

I am not scared, some arbitrary number under my avatar isn't going to stop me from being active in the forums. Once your rep has gone to -100 then back to positive and now on its way there again, just doesn't matter anymore. ;)

nope they don't. Well maybe this is what gog wants, get rid of the people that have been here and let stupid over take everything. *shrugs* It's their forum after all.
oh yeah, fuck them, i'm not going anywhere. Get me as low as pimpmonkey. I'm well enough known in the community, I never trade and rarely if ever enter GAs. It took me a little over a year to get to 500. meh.

Though even if some of us don't care about the rep, its GOG's apathy towards the overall condition of the forum lately that is driving most people away. So I do agree, that GOG's lack of commitment in this regard implies that they want this place to be taken over by numbskulls.

They should have by now done something more then re-introducing the missing block function in chat, like proper email verification to ensure its not easy to create multiple alt accounts with bogus email IDs. Also designating a dedicated community manager who actually sticks around here for more then 5 mins. once in a blue moon.

Hope they do something, I kind of tired seeing first page with a same topics about scammer or alt account.
