It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Cavalary: 2. Once you click it, everything vanishes off the page.
And if you click anywhere "outside" the search results, they simply vanish again, "bringing you back" to the page you were, when you entered the search term.

So, that works in the exact same way as the old search.

Aaand, it's gone again.

Began receiving notifications (at the bell in the top menu bar) about recent releases. Yesterday got about Fallout London; today about Nobody Wants to Die.

Anybody knows how to disable these?

Would you please provide a screen capture of your account subscriptions page?

Although it seems to be unlikely (as, at the very least, I do not recall Fallout: London having a pre-release store page), I wonder if it might be related to coming soon notifications, or, perhaps, the 'Releases and announcements' checkbox (even if I had been under the impression that this only pertains to electronic mail reminders).

All my checkboxes are checked.

It was not a subscribed coming soon notification. I know what these look like and it was different. I guess I got selected to test a new feature.
I got the Fallout: London notification right after adding it to my account. I haven't had the NWtD one.

I also got a notification about Fallout: London a few days ago and today a notification for the strategy promo. As it's signaled on every open tab it drives my browser crazy, plain annoying. I've disabled the "Promotions and hot deals" subscription now, but do not have much hope that it will help. So I also would be interested how to block these notifications.

Same. Just received my third notification in a short time. The bell icon above lights up in red and the browser title starts blinking with [1] unread message. But all I get are advertisements directly from GOG.

The first one announced a discount for XCOM 2. (Huh??? This game is 8 years old! And not even wishlisted.)
The next was for Fallout London (as above).
The latest one just asked me to visit the Strategy games promo. (This promo is nearly over, only 1 day remaining. Why now? Wth?)

I don't like being the guinea pig, a test subject for one of GOG's famous "great ideas"...

How do I disable / opt-out of this notification nonsense?
Yes, I do have two "subscriptions" active (1. Promotions and Hot deals and 2. Releases and announcements), because I was fine with receiving the email newsletter. But these in-store notifications are obviously broken and bloody annoying.
@GOG: This kind of notification spam will *not* increase the likelihood of sales. Instead, I will most likely disable the remaining subscriptions if this spam doesn't end soon.

I started getting these notifications too. The most recent from a couple days ago was this link:

https://www.gog.com/en/promo/20240802_shooter_sale?utm_source=galaxy&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=20240802_shooter_promo_targeted

Since there's a Galaxy tracker in the link, I wonder if this is some client "feature" that they're trying to add to the website. I wish they wouldn't :) FWIW I only have "Promotions and hot deals" checked under subscriptions.
As of yesterday the reviews section is completely messed up! Tried it on two different PCs with two different browsers and got same results. Don't know what happened but i surely hope this is a bug and that it will get fixed soon.

Confirmed, looks like they either increased the size of an element so they no longer fit together or something stopped being inline, because the right sidebar ends up under the reviews and on the left.
