Emob78: Could be a lot of things... it's really a free-for-all of issues considering the state of the world right now. But somehow, to me anyway, the percentage of gay/bi/trans/female characters that are in video games ranks as a jack point shit on my list of needful things to pay attention to. But hey, it's all subjective, right? So I guess each person's mileage may vary. If it is a really big deal for you, fine. That's your own measuring stick. Just don't think other people such as myself are misogynist, racist assholes for thinking your priorities are a bit out of whack.
Fever_Discordia: Yeah, 'first world problems' and all that - it's certainly hard to argue that one when there's people being shot up in churches in America and on beaches in Tunisia
It actually disgusts me when EA gets voted 'Most Evil Company of the Year' for, I dunno, DLC nickel and dimeing when there's companies like Nestle, Coke and Apple's hardware division running sweatshops, destroying villages and exploiting 3rd world mothers ...
Compared to
this, even those problems can be seen as minor depending on the perspective. Everybody should have seen this movie at least once.
Stuff like this is what I think of when I see social study hipsters, professional victims and their whole crowd (which is mostly called SJWs now) eating burgers, throwing food away, buying new clothes all the time, using lots of make-up and whatnot for their face/hair to look as unnatural as possible, etc... but as we've seen in this thread some (in fact many) of the very loud ones don't even vote while claiming to make the world a better place. Trolling, doxxing, lying and spreading intolerance and hatred in the net, universities and now even the industry is so much more convenient than rethinking your life and trying to figure out what kind of impact you actually have on others and your environment and if this impact is constructive at all.
