I'm rooting for Mr. Chip! May the little doggo win. Also rooting for Gerald if doggo doesn't make it... Exciting finale.

True. Doc created lively and interesting characters based on our descriptions and for a over a month provided us with great entertainment.
Jack the Knack distractedly bites a carrot, while trying to figure how the last fights will play out. He also reflects on how the tournament has managed to get participants of many different origins, all together in mateship as equals. That is a sweet thought, almost as sweet as these delicious carrots, mind.

Truly one of the better experiences I've had online.

Genocide2099: We are nearing the end. Feels sad man.
Sadly true :(
Amongst other things, I'm going to miss the feud with the lighthouse. It was definitely one of the "highlights" of the tournament for me so I can only hope a resourceful bright mind takes notice and produces an adaptation for TV, maybe a Mexican soap opera, if only because the story could have so much narrative "hook".
(seriously, I'm going to miss it a lot).

TT_TT_TT_TT: Great survey!
Thank you! As of now, there are 27 responses so far. One more and we have a full moon. They have been enlightening already. For example, a certain character was expected to be considered among the roguish, con-men, thiefly kind, but he has not been so far. On the other hand, several voters actually remembered that bards might be, well, the way they behave in The Bard's Tale :3

Also, a comment has been spot-on: when asking for the best magic user characters, since sometimes it is difficult to tell science appart from magic (thanks pal!), which equals Clarke's third law. So, it would have been better to make the question more comprehensively, including both users magic and of advanced science (let us call they technomancers, if you like). Feel free to understand the question in this way if you feel like it. This way, the question works in the same way that the question about characters that are either aliens or fantastic creatures.

So, yes, there is fantasy and science fiction, epic and comedy, horror and charm, familiar concepts and mind-boggling ones and all the gradations in between. All have found their way into this tournament!

Show must go on! ^_^

I agree. It's really remarkable! Doc took 114 character descriptions and pimped them all with a pounding pulse! Brought each character to life in unexpected ways, injecting humor and brutality into the fights, while remaining relentless and fair at the same time. It's crazy!

Me thinks Doc leads a secret life as a ghost writer for unconventional children's books or as a graphic novel dramatist. :P Anyone can roll a virtual dice, but it takes storytelling skills (and love of writing!) to pull off what Doc has delivered here. :)
My next character should be the best art restorer of the world ;)

"The authorities in Borja said they had suspected vandalism at first, but then determined that the alterations had been made by an elderly parishioner"
Very funny story! She could have been Pat nemesis, messing up with her paintings and their powers!

This was the original fresco before she made it look like a monkey

How can you both say that ? Don't you see the marvelous improvement to the original picture she did ? You're just too narrow-minded !

Doc0075: * DICE ROLL *
Blue Lightening rolls 10
The Bard rolls 4

The Bard smiles at his worthy adversary, Quicktongue the Bard. He takes a step back but treads on a blue marble. He tries to regain his balance by throwing his arms out to the sides but the little marble rolls around under his foot. The Bard topples through the ropes and out of the ring and hits the concrete head first, knocking himself out.

The Bard is now in the crowd with an ice-pack on his head.
Proper railings! Proper railings! My kingdom for proper railings!
