Good idea to relocate, but like stuff that is related and so often drifts off topic, it can go on for a bit, and then we find it is probably done. Oh well.
Not much more to add at this point I guess, except maybe people declaring sides in the argument.

On a related note, I looked at the manifest my GUI creates, and the Timberborn Demo entry still exists, even though the title no longer exists in my list of game titles. I guess the entry can be seen as a good thing, and I was able to take advantage of it, and grab the last update, before the title was removed during a GUI list update.
So I decided to write some code to search for orphan entries, and then give a restore to list option if desired. I spent a few hours on it, then discovered GOG must have cleaned up their side of it, and not all the required data exists in the manifest, so I couldn't finish testing. Them's the breaks, and not all the code is useless, and if GOG continue to do this, there may be a small window to restore a title, just long enough to download that game removed from your library. I imagine one would have to be pretty quick though. At the very least, I can now discover orphaned entries quite easily, and whether they are recoverable or not at that moment in time.
