For anyone interested, there's a blog called The Digital Antiquaring. It's a site by Jimmy Maher and his aim is to chronicle the history of computer games and what not. And he's not half bad at that either. His stuff is well researched and he even has picked the brains of the people who were behind those old companies and games. Interesting stuff, if you're into modern history.

Also, if you're not so keen on reading the stuff from the blog, he's collected the content into several e-books he has on download free of charge.
