I really liked 3, despite the boxes. I've only played a bit of 4 but liked it so far but I like 3d adventure games. 5 started nicely essentially reliving 1 but the story got a bit ridiculous.

If people are fans of 1 & 2 they shouldn't be put off 3 imo and I'd even venture at 4.

That's because it is. The taken keys are just there for "archiving" purposes or whatever. Just fun statistics stuff. The available keys are just that, the available keys. Not sure what the confusion is.
