I can imagine it being a lot of neverending finicky work, but at least I also see that it's anything but thankless.

(I'll readily admit to giveaways like these being the thing which first made me pay attention to the forum, and I've already benefited tremendously from them - but all y'all's generosity is certainly inspiring me to try and become a worthwhile addition to the community.)

Those were tricky. I checked various threads to see if people mentioned if they had missed the "farewell promo" for the Duke games. In the case of Bookmusicfan5472, his account was registered after the Duke games were removed and he had mentioned he liked FPS games like Doom so I made the assumption that he most likely did not have Duke3D and would like to play it.

As far as I know, those codes expire on July 31 so there are 10 more days :)

Thanks to BenKii for nominating me but even greater thanks to the generous coffeecup who donated the game in the first place. Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers is one of the most immersive and atmospheric games I've played and I'm really looking forward to trying out the anniversary edition.

*g* Yeah, picked the username back when I didn't realize there was a forum here. I know I can ask support to change it for me, and intended to, but have had trouble coming up with a username I like - and as the days go by, I'm actually getting more and more amused at the idea of using such a "throwaway" nick as a main and active handle. Besides, any time support isn't busy communicating with me, could be spent chasing after developers to fix the avatar bug! (One can dream...)

Don't change the username! Just find an avatar that goes with the trial motto... It can be funny to see your trial username after a few years and a lot of posts :-P

(Wait, I think you actually tried that, but I can't see it well in the tiny avatar version that works in the quotes. It's some kind of rodent, right?)

Yeah, it's Boo. (To go with "Go for the eyes!")
...but picking something related to any of the different meanings of "trial" would indeed be awesome. Thanks for the idea! :D
