MarkoH01: Yes, but I KNOW that I could expect those hats nearly ONLY in Texas. Most americans unfortunately think that most German do look like bavarians in their folk clothes (not even bavarians do look this way all the time) that is what I think is a bit sad.
I'm pretty sure we realize it, I was just messing with you.
I'm fairly certain everybody all over the world looks essentially the same these days.
